The weekend was rainy, on and off - this slug wanted to find shelter and was too slow - the rain´d stopped and she went back.
That´s my life also.
Crows or life? In my case, the latter...
I won´t hop on or into anyone´s wagon atm.
We went to the city, to the market on Sat.
A man got out of his car and just said, "last year, this day it was that cold this hour, I looked it up!".
We had the same way and he kept talking and talking and talking.
Interesting stuff, too.
Oh, I wish I could make contact that easily - with less talking, though! - (in the end we exchanged e-mail-address even and there he was again).
We were on the same horse, mostly.
One phrase he said really was... sadly true, if it goes on like this (I hope not).
"What Honecker ("party leader" of former GDR) didn´t manage, Merkel will finish. Destroy Germany´s economy."
Yes.
She not only grew up in former GDR, she acts without thinking, it seems.
Taxes rise and rise cause "refugees are welcome" - and they are!!! If they come from war. Those are relieved to be in safety, learn German, integrate.
Aww. Well.
Most are financial refugees, young men, you spot them with their red quality sneakers.
They don´t learn German, oh, what do I know.
We talked like forever.
This man is in his early 70´s, has a son nearly Ingo´s age and a daughter around my age.
He´s an engineer, too, like us.
Honest.
Said straight away I don´t look healthy, if I suffer depression.
Made me laugh a couple of times and said, that´s the way to go.
Oh, boy, do you see that I´m not well, really?!
And I felt OK that day, too.
His wife suffers of Parkinson.
In hospitals he has to "talk" to doctors who do not speak German.
There are free trainings for learning German, but the doctors don´t make use of them.
Haha. When Ingo was in hospital to get a blood transfusion the doctor I had questions for did not speak German... neither English :-(
What Honecker.... Germany goes down the drain...

It's not just your country. Ours is going down the drain faster than I've ever been able to imagine. We have to get a new president -- this one is destroying civil rights and taking us into a fascist zone. It's horrid.
I'm glad you have someone fun like that to talk to! And who can make you laugh. And I won't get on an ATV either. Those things scare me!
