POW

Mural taken at Herzogin Elisabeth-Strasse, do you remember, Sami?
It´s in the East Ring Area, where we used to live. And where I get Ingo´s bread every Monday morning.
Well, not today as today...

We´re bad with dates, so, to make it easy: We´re together since Pentecost, Monday is a public holiday...
27 years ago. Silly like teenagers to remember that, huh?
And, well, it´s nothing, it´t gone.  Didn´t remember whips were involved in our sayings.

Sadly, as often, no sign of the artist! As here, same street:

Oh, we had the worst April since 1980 (they said in the news) and May is as bad.
9C, cloudy. Spring???

"POW" it just  jumped away and winter is still here, it seems.
Add that to no travels.

I leave you with good and bad:

("burn")
I was working 16 years for Andreas.
Then came Felix, along with the Diesel-affair at VW - I lost my project there and hence did not bring in Volkswagen-money no more, got fired.
Colleagues said, Andreas would´ve found a way (he did with others more than once).

Yin-Yang.
I learned to cook and bake, came back to some art-projects, do a lot of sports and one fellow blogger "told me" to see it as opportunity.
I learn things I would not otherwise.
Plus I don´t rely on Ingo´s money due to rent-outs.

Felix, I maybe even have to thank you (NOT!!!! 17 years I was loyal, for THIS?! We got less salary for a while to keep colleagues with Andreas and you... just get rid of all the "VW-externals...).

This is for Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.

I´d SO love to present you a wonderful mural of Huey
But we missed it and only saw it in the internet-news.

Have you been in a Huey?

Henry 🦁

He thinks time should slow down, but Spring can spring into warm weather!!

You took some chances. That's POWer

Tom, someone should light the fire. Felix is a man who looks for money only, does not care about people. Human beings.

Elizabeth, he´s an as#hole. His parents bought him a plaything and he plays.

Bertiebo, yes, but it would be time to move on... and I can´t.

We lived not too far away from there in Ranke strasse (our second appt).
Thanks for contributing to Monday Murals.
It looks like our cold weather has started, grey skies and rain started on the weekend and today our coldest May day in 8 years (min 7C, max 14C)...but it's almost winter.

It's not teenage silly to remember your anniversary :-) Bill and I have been together for 41 years and married for 40 1/2 and we still remember :-) It's important to remember your special days! I know you're having a tough time right now in some ways, but happy day to you both.

It's odd -- the things we see in murals at certain times. Felix does NOT sound like a good guy.

Pow, makes me think Batman. :)

These stand out.

Sami, I still have to laugh how you called Braunschweig " a small city", but maybe you are right, we´re a village (a HUGE one).
Still too cold here.

Shari, hope things will get better eventually. Nice you two celebrate like that.

____

Martha, thanks.

____

kwarkito ... still waiting for Spring here!

____

Jeanie, no. He sure was not. Others quit out of frustration.

____

Bill... um... I´ve never seen/read Batman. I´m honest at least! ;-)

____

William, they at least made me take pics.
