This man of mine.
"What´s your weight?" (and what a mean question, too)
How am I supposed to know that?!
He wanted to buy me a pair of trousers online (and did) and for that you need the weight, oh, yes, thank you, as if I wanna know my weight!
Trousers (or whatever) getting tight I know I need to loose weight, easy, huh.
No need for depressing numbers!
Torture! Part I. He got the scale.
I don´t get it.
At the doc I had to tell and wrote "60 kg?" (132 lbs) - with question mark, cause I don´t know.
It´s 54 (119 lbs) or 55 Ingo found out (I didn´t dare to look, and I weighed in with clothes on), now... will they get a wrong diagnosis?
Should I call them?
Ingo himself just was at the doc and knows his weight and tested - this scale works perfectly.
And HOW COME?!
I´m doing So.Much.Sport.
And muscles weigh more than fat so.. how?!
Due to scoliosis I lost 6cm. So actually I´m 1.64m (5,4).
THEN
Torture part II!!!
What is this?! What are the pots doing upside down on the table?!!!!
"Pressies. Choose one today, the other tomorrow".
Not so smart me took the second one.
Am I to gain weight?! Chips!!!
(I don´t like sweets, hence the hearty surprise)
Hey, I´m doing sports to LOOSE fat!
Torture part III...
He leaves the second pot unattended.
Is that fair? I felt like a strong 5-year-old not peeking.
That could be my food-part for T-day. But I just can´t - I have to show you.
Do you have such a weirdo at home, too, btw?! π§‘
Anyhows, we Saturday fell for an ad. We haven´t been in this place for more than a year! And you should support your locals, right? Right???
Free delivery, but with a tip, certainly.
"Steak delivered?!", I hear you say, "that can´t work!!".
But look:
It´s just delivered in the area they can reach in time to bring it in perfect condition that you ordered and it.worked!! Lucky us living here and not outside this circle!
Yes, I know... plastic... not good.
And certainly we got dips as well for the potatoe, and even..
"Art"-wise...
"Keep the distance... but eat".
Certainly in the restaurant it would´ve been even better, that steak, but... Corinna...
You search for company with no use...
Highlights not already mentioned: Found an American cent - Ingo repaired the humidifier (can bite my butt for not having taken pics!).
OH! I was asked about the numbers in the journal.
The first is the calories burnt, the second the steps I took for that. It motivates me.
One heart π for at least 2000 calories, two hearts ππ if I had more than 3000 "killed".
I managed to wait for the next day and guess what was under the second pot?
What do we have today?
Correct, Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday" and hence I present:
Henry π¦... He thinks he lives in a nut house and in the wrong time, too!

This post had me laughing all the way through, Iris. I loved reading about your weight. Seems you are definitely not overweight. I'd say you have great numbers, at least once you knew your correct weight.
Had to laugh at the chips. Enjoyed reading the journal this week. You will never gain weight with all that exercise, even if you eat one of those incredible steaks every day!
I have no idea what Batida Maracuja is, so looked it up on the internet. Beside passion fruit, it also contained cachaca which I also had to look up. Talk about learning a foreign language (grin). Thanks for sharing your scales, yoour chips, your journal pages, and your Batida Maracuja with us for T this Tuesday, dear Iris.
54 kilos, I can only dream of that. I'm also small and need to lose weight
Elizabeth, glad I could make you laugh - and learn π
Wedll, I have the time on my hands without a job. And the weather is too nasty for walking outside.
Haha, every day such a steak, I´n need to win lotto for that, it´s sadly quite expensive!

Bertiebo, around the middle it´s still too much over here!
Fabulous post! I wouldn't get on those scales either, we don't have any in our house at all ...lol π. Loving how many calories your burning and the heart symbols on your page. The steak looks so good with the baked potato and how wonderful that you get free delivery, it looks like top quality meat too. Loved seeing your art, so much fun π. So lovely to see Henry during the summer too, bet you can't wait! Thanks for the smile and Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
Yes, I never had a scale, either! And always said at the doc that I don´t wanna know π. Oh, yes, that Steakhouse really is the best in town, yummm...
Iris, thanks for your earlier visit, I loved reading your post, made me smile as I’ve also put on weight and am struggling to lose it, doesn’t help that my husband cooks! I’m also 5’4” and. Haven’t weighed myself for years but I know my clothes are now tight.
That’s a good takeaway, steak, I like medium to well done, the Spanish don’t understand that and always seem to serve it bloody, my husband likes it like that, me, I say no blood! That seemed to work, ha,ha
Happy T day
Jan x
...I haven't had a steak in ages, Now that's a modern looking scale.
Jan, no blood sure is a good "trick" :-)
____
Tom, that scale is several years old! LOL. Well, I´d say time for a steak then.
Steak would be welcome right about now.
It was sooooo yummy.
What a fun post, Iris! You have a wonderful sense of humor! The steak looks yummy. Scales are not our friends - not mine anyway - lol! I bought one one on Amazon that tells you your body fat, how much fat is around your heart, your metabolic age - it totally freaks me out! I get on it when I want to scare myself into not cheating! LOL.
Happy T day and thank for this very fun post which got me laughing this dreary, rainy morning.
I love this post Iris. I can really relate. Weight and clothes and height-argh!!!! But exercise is good. (For me especially working outside as I get good exercise and like what I am doing.) Sorry about the scale. I don't even own one, don't want to know. And Ingo must be like my hubby, tries to cheer you up with food. What are they thinking? I enjoyed reading this, and you did make me laugh as I read it. Its good to know we are not alone. Have a great T day. Hugs-Erika
Nancy, wow, I would somehow like to know my body fat... or... would I? Maybe scary after all, LOL. Hm. I don´t think I´m a funny person. But my Nieces always laugh, too...
Oh, here it´s like autumn!! So windy and cold.
____
Laurie, fun to read people think I am funny. Thank you for your compliments!
____
Erika, I never owned a scale, Hubby does. Aha, your hubby, too! LOL! Hugs on that!
After I started exercising regularly I decided I was going to assume any weight gain was muscle. Makes sense to me ;) Steak delivered sounds great! I'd sign up for that. Weather here has been unusually cool this spring, but I'm sure we'll get that lovely heat soon. I live in the American South, after all lol Happy T Tuesday!
Why do you need weight to buy trousers? π€
Divers and Sundry, weight is crazy and I don´t care (and don´t understand why this would be important for trousers).
Yes, the coldest April since 1980 and it goes on like that!
____
magiceye, my point, too...
If Rick made me get on the scales in front of him, I would have walked out. Maybe not forever but long enough to make a statement! Those steaks look wonderful -- it's been ages since I had steak!
First off, Wow, that is a lot of calories burned. I have a fit bit that I use to keep track. I DO have a sweet tooth so my calories can add up pretty quickly. My weight used to until hubby and I started counting calories and then I started realizing how much I was actually eating. Counting is a good thing.
Your steak and potato look delicious! But I especially like the look of those cows. My sweet tooth is calling.
What a sweet hubby to surprise you. He is very clever.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
You are hilarious. I laughed at how your husband is buying you pants. My husband knows better. LOL My weight goes up and down and I am constantly tying to keep it in check. I do pretty well until I bake bread then I am done for. LOL That steak looks pretty good even though I don't eat steak. Thanks for the well wishes on my back too. Have a great day today.
Jeanie, LOL on the scales. But reckon time for a steak, huh?
____
Kate, the desert cows are still here, my sweet tooth sleeps, as mostly ;-)
Yes, Hubby is cute and clever (mostly, haha).
I had a fitbit, but like the Polar better.
Nicole, Hubby also bought me a dress π
At the moment I have the weight "under control", being fit and having time on my hands with no job.The day so far is good, just like autumn, weird weather, sadly...
Such a fun post! You are a great story teller and had me smiling from beginning to end. Glad you were able to enjoy a good ordered meal.
Wonderful art too. Happy T day!
I love chips!
If I didn't eat sweets, I'd be quite thin. But as we mournfully say, you can get fat even if you only eat healthy food all the time.
best... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Linda, thank you. I´m just babbling away, I think! But glad if I can make people smile with it!
____
RedPat... me, also, bu-huuuu!
____
Mae, or chips, Pizza and Co ;-)
BUT - I think happiness is more important anyways. I´m glad, though, I have the time to do so much training and astonishingly I even (mostly) enjoy the program (it comes with music and a funny guy).
I'll swap either of your weight numbers for mine. When I get on the scale, the scale groans. Oooof! You're heavy! I prefer to think of my shape as Goddess. Mmmm, steak take out. Looks absolutely delicious! Are those gummicows? Those look yummy, too. Happy T Day
I do not get on my scale, ever! LOL
Happy T Day!
CJ, Goddess sounds great :-) Yes, those are gummicows, cute idea, is it.
____
Sharon, I normally only at the doc and only if I have to, then say, "I don´t wanna know", LOL
I haven't eat beef in decades and don't miss it. We don't have a scale either. You can tell by the way your clothes fit if you need to lose some weight. I love chips too and probably eat too many but that's ok.
Yess! That looks like a very nice steak! Well done you two. Treat yourself every now and then.
Gosh I wish I weighed 55 kg. I am smaller than you (1m54) and I weigh at least 65. We weigh ourselves naked every Sunday morning, just to keep on top of things. (but it doesn't seem to work. But I still want to know.)
I hadn't heard of Batida Maracuja. Although batida means 'shake'. It sounds a nice drink. Cincin.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
PS I've just looked at your Fairy Liquid advert on YouTube. The square in the video looks exactly like our village town hall square! (Where we have our paella once a year)!
The last time I had a check up at the doctor's, she said hop on the scales, I said.. absolutely not and I didn't π Honestly P is definitely an enabler, he's always buying things he knows I can't resist.. but I will, from tomorrow π Fun post Iris.
Bill, I did miss a good Blockhouse-Steak - much better than homemade.
Ingo has the scale because his Dr wanted him to when he was so severly sick.
____
Lisca, I´d be afraid of every Sunday morning LOL!!!
The drink was quite sweet, yet in an exotic way.
Hugs and to your bravery!
That´s awesome, now I know the ad is (partially) based on the truth!
____
Grace, you crack me up! π€£π€£π€£ ..."absolutely not" did work?!
Oh, come on, once in a while we need to get treated, esp from our Hubbies π§‘
Now I feel really FAT, after losing weight too! I thought I was doing so well, but have a way to go to get down to your weight! Can I use the age card??? Maybe not, I'll just have to try harder! I would love a take away, but definitely not steak, something we no longer eat. Your calendar journal is brilliant. I see now why I am not losing weight - where do you go to exercise to get to 30,000+ steps a day? Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
Fun fun fun! Everybody has gained weight inCovid area. My granddaughter *(adult one) calls the Covid 15. I might have to up that number (it is in lbs.). Gotta do something about that. But food ...my husband has cooked more and we still aren’t going to restaurants even though we now have the vaccinations. We do order delivery sometimes, but never anything as yummy as steak dinner.
Steak does look good. But one thing I don't get is one weight to buying clothes, usual it all in measurments in body.
Coffee is on and stay safe
Chris, I have the age-card ;-)
How I do it? With Detlef Soost-DVDs! He is fun, motivated and you dance it simply away with good music, have a look here - you don´t need to speak German, he demonstrates what to do and then you dance, give it a go! Irisx
____
Sally, but... now most have more time to do sport with working from home (those who can).
This was our first delivery in over a year, too. I so´d like to repeat this!
____
Dora, I have no idea, either, but the form wanted the weight...
