MY EYE!!!

Mural again from Emden - I cannot identify the artist´s name... can you?

 A peek into our kitchen?

This is in Braunschweig. In Rhüden I accidentially brought a baby-bat inside - Ingo saved it (we guess and hope).
It somehow managed to get between two plates we had outside after finishing our BBQ and still enjoying the summer-night.

Eye? I have to make an appointment for an Iris-scan as mine went wrong in Freo (I don´t have brown eyes, they mixed the pics up).

Here is Ingo´s, from Freo:

The photo is right by my PC and hence the  .. I don´t even know the German word, the "thingy" under my 70´s chair I found in the street is there as reflection - how cool is that?!
And the strings!
Ingo tells this story: He wanted to.... it´s a lie - his Mother has the same eye.
Don´t buy his story - he has this from birth. He did not rip his eye climbing under a fence...

Wish me luck this time my "my-scan" (haaa-ha) is better (I have my Father´s eye-color and this is also where my name (Iris) is from, hence this is important to me.

Green-grey, the real stuff, for my Dad...

Yes, my Dad is long gone (2002), but I kinda feel I owe it to him... it´s a bit like having him here (I do have pictures of my family in the living room and kitchen, of course).

It looks healthy.

I wish I had blue eyes, my favorite color. But no Koreans have blue eyes, alas.

Sami, no, it´s for fun! What we did in Freo at the markets, you get a picture of your eye.

I really like weird, being normal is over rated.

I like the weird eyeball mural. It's very colorful, too.

Good luck with the scan.

That's really Ingo's eye? I've never seen anything like that. And the mural is cool, too!

Iris Flavia said...

Bill, yes, especially for a small town like Emden!

____

Amy, very well said!

____

Elizabeth, yes, I really need to make that appointment!

____

Jeanie, yes, that´s really Ingo´s eye - he likes to shock people with that "fence-story", LOL.
And some even believe it!! 🤣 They go "outch"!

I hope your eye scan shows nothing wrong.
I have light brown eyes from my dad, I wish they were dark brown, but no amount of wishing will make it so. My mum had blue eyes and my siblings all blue too. My oldest two children have brown eyes, but T is mostly greenish now since her thyroid troubles, K has gray/green eys and J has blue. We hoped the twins would have blue, but they are grey.
