Here are some pics of around the city - this week I head the other direction, but in the morning when it´s too dark for pics also there is nothing special (am at the company for a workshop without a laptop and certainly I only visit you all from my private PC).
If you´re interested here is historical background of Alte Waage.
Behind this building you find St Andreas and opposite this beautifully decorated flower-house:
When you come from a bit more parallel way to the city you find this view:
I leave you with the museum near Henry:
They had an open day for the foyer that is still in renovation, you find them here, even in English for a change.

Bill, yes, especially what they do with the museum-entrance.
A very beautiful city.
Love the church.
Like the entrance to the museum, Iris. Looks like it was a nice day.
That's a very pretty "flower house."
I could spend all day, every day in Germany and never ever tire of it. It is where my heart is and where I long to be. Some day ... one day ...
Black Knight, yes, Braunschweig has some very nice places.
____
RedPat, yes to both :-)

Cindi, where have you been "here" and where comes your love for this country come from?
That church is a beauty.
The Duke Henry is next to it. Maybe I should go and take a pic...
Such a fun look at your city
The fun part is to come yet :-)
The house with all the flowers looks very nice. That's the sort of thing my mum would do.
How'd I miss this post? Hmmm. I love all these architectural elements. Funny how different styles are popular in different places. hugs-Erika
River, every summer I love walking there and Ingo always says, "you take a pic every year!".
Yes. And I secretly hope the person inside sees me - each summer!

Erika, please share yours then!
I actually come from architecture and I sadly so far have never been to your country, so.... to hugs and pics!
