We traveled there with a bunch of people from Lower Saxony for two weeks.
Owwww, the accent!!! But once you learn they are nice people you adapt to that.
This was taken at...
Ingo made me book this, though:
This is standing since... I ever remember on our main train station as exhibit - maybe, dear host & your Hubby (who is in railway) you´ve seen it last time?
We will ride with it to Bad Harzburg and back in October!
See more here, if you like.
Who ever knew I come to railway and what a fascinating engineering field that is!!!!
I will have to go to another house (Theodor-Heuss-Straße) and check out if INA, Inductive protection of approaching trains is in for me, two colleagues asked. Actually we head for ETCS (European Train Control System) for which I had four training sessions, but, oh, well.
To Tuscany... no matter how. It was one of the best holidays, and if I get the INA-project I will have to take DB (our Mother-ship) to Dresden to meet personally.
Kindle is ready for that! Please no book-recommendations 😉
I am afraid I have to drop my ALSTOM-project, though.
At first I was out of job and now... too many options.
Siemens mobility wants me back, also. More on that with Tom´s Signs2.
This is for Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.

Ah Tuscany, I love it
First you were out of a job and now everyone wants you. I have seen pictures of Tuscany, but will never go.
Bertiebo, we had a great time!

River, yes, it´s crazy, job-wise.
Hmmm, why not Tuscany, it´s really beautiful and you get the best Pizza (OK, our company was also one big reason why it was such a fantastic experience!).
Nice mural from Tuscany.
We that that locomotive, didn't know it was still operational.
Our first apartment was in that tall building in Theodor-Heuss-Straße :)
Glad you are getting offers of jobs, always that way, when you don't have a job nothing happens, then when you have a job, you get more offers...
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.
I didn´t know, either - it is a special event, too. I sure look forward to it!
Oh, I think the building is now offices only.
Yes, it´s weird with the jobs!
Beautiful art and photos!
You must be good at what you are doing, Iris. Nice things are happening for you.
...I remember riding a giant swing.
magiceye, thank you.

RedPat, I dunno! ATM I don´t bring in money as I´m working internal. They certainly want me at a customer... but likely I will say no for several reasons (the colleagues are certainly not the problem :-)...)

Tom, OMG, I remember that, too, it was a ship and I really got sick! Never again!
Nice art today, Iris. Never went on the big swing, I don't like it. :)
Isn't it nice to be wanted? I love that! I've always wanted to go to Tuscany. Maybe someday....
I visited Florence in 1969, but never visited the Tuscan countryside, alas. Italy is so beautiful. Rome is my favorite city of all time. Just love it there.
Bill, it´s not really swinging, just going round and round. I was on a huge swing (boat) once and got sick!
____
Jeanie, sadly I will likely not take that job and stay intern and wait for ALSTOM...
es, go visit Tuscany in summer, it´s wonderful!
____
gigi, I haven´t seen Rome. Nice you have fond memories (and that Italian restaurant nearby!).
Oh Tuscany! One of many places I long to see. I am so happy about your job situation. I sure wish the US would invest more in railroads.
Tuscany is a very beautiful region. I live 80 km far from it.
In December I will enter 2 races there and, of course, I ran the Florence Marathon.
Sue, ESE just is about to send people to North America for that - I translated 24 CVs.
Hope you get to visit Tuscany, it´s really beautiful.

Black Knight, lucky you!
We walked very slowly through Florence ;-)
What an absolutely stunning mural, Iris. I love it.
On Monday's tag post you left a comment about Gurri background. I didn't understand it. Can you explain what a Gurri is?
