Have A Spidery, Merry Christmas!

Thank you, dear Santa!!! To Tinsel and seeing the Good in so much!
Hi Charlotte, hope you have a great Christmas, too!
We keep all spiders here, too (in Germany they are harmless, if native).

(in our winter-underwear)
As you know, Santa is a very busy guy. So he comes to Germany already this Eve.
Which means our Advent-calendars end. Please let me show you what I got soon (Ingo got a cheapy at work  only!)

Today on to the cards.
I declare the next posts as Christmas-posts, what do you think?

Let´s start with the United States of America!!
(As you maybe know I love American Football but have never been there (yet)!)

This is from dear Kathy, thank you!!!

Mailman Ingo then came with this!

I think I bug you all a lot with my excitement of returning to Perth - after, thanks to COVID - five years!
Once, I only saw it on the internet, they had one passage covered with brollies for sun shade, so... I grinned so bright with joy, my face hurt!

This is from dear Bertiebo, from the Netherlands, and she even wrote in German!
Thank you so much, too!
Oh, we spent three Christmasses in Perth, hmmmm, so wonderfully warm with around 38+C / 100+F, it was plain so wonderful!
I remember one where we had no aircon, sat outside, I had a bucket of cold water to sprinkle my legs and Ingo had Cola with ice cubes and those passing by in the caravan park thought it was whiskey, LOL!

One of the only three cards I made and sent (it was busy here and I did this the first time in my life):

 I hope it arrived!

Then... last...

... certainly the Deutsche Bahn, we are a Daughter of!
To no surprise this was K´s idea in the first place, too!
Please wish me luck we arrive in time and safely in Frankfurt with "her" end of January!
Strikes are "common" these days...

Mailman Ingo came back in as really last (I think) with this note and key for neighbor´s mailbox whilst they´re on holiday:

 Such a cute card, too!

I hope they mean 07.01.24, as in January! Otherwise I have to organize for neighbor C to pick up both our mails when we are in Perth 🤣

Now, I think this is enough for one day, let me show you more tomorrow, OK?

Santa is all around Germany/Europe today, hope you have cookies, milk and carrots ready when you get the visit on 25th!
Have a wonderful Christmas, reckon you all have family over, enjoy!!

Henry 🦁

To love, good food, you (your company helped me through a lot!!) and peace 💙💛🎅

Funny Christmas!

I never heard the spider story. I like lametta but don't put up the big tree here.
All your cards are lovely, I like the Tralalalala and the Meowy one.
I won't be home tomorrow so will have to catch up on reading the day after. I will be having Christmas lunch with the twins! and their family and friends too.

I love the spider story, Iris. I didn't put any tinsel on my tree this year but I will from now on.

Don´t forget a (plastic?) spider, RedPat :-)

I've heard the Christmas spiderweb story before, but didn't know it originated in Germany. You and your brother so cute in front of the beautiful Christmas tree. Your Christmas cards are lovely. My favorite is the one you made. Meowy Christmas Eve!

CJ, I sadly only learned the spider-story now!
Cute... back then ;-)
Thank you, I plan to make more than three next year. It was fun! Meowy Christmas Eve - I just made myself a pressie online!

I'm excited to see what you got in your Advent calendars! And Christmas posts sound wonderful. The anticipation is building up, and exploring Christmas traditions from different countries, starting with the United States, will be delightful! Can't wait for more festive content.
