I Do Not Fool You!

It is April already - isn´t this weird? Time for another Aborigine-Story, shall we?

I am very aware of "the situation" today still.
And this is why I want to show you they were and are wise.
Each month for this year a story of the Elder will come up - hope you enjoy them and hope it improves more quickly - I saw progress, so I am full of hope!

BUT.. I fell for reduced calendars (still wondering where to put them up!!!), so here goes, let us welcome the warm half of the year in the Northern Hemisphere!

From the calendar " Cats and Kittens".

From "Australian Outback" - on the wall in our mini-hall.

"... but their echoes are endless" - from "Inspirational".

From "Follow your Dreams - they know the way" - I have a friend, fK - she is a strong believer in this and I try to follow - cannot hurt, right? Yet, certainly we both work hard to keep up with life!

From "Funny Animals" and funnily...

From "Country Living". My Dad´s fav flowers.
I hope someone "gives up"... "somehow" and the world stays safe and free.

From "Scenic Views".
And last....

...from the "Perth Firefighters".
All money goes to the Children´s Hospital. A bit too defined for my liking but nice to look at, huh? His smile is the best 😘

Did you get fooled today?

Certainly I also join Sami´s Monday Murals here!
To the pressie of a new month!

I like the Aboriginal stories and have recently found out that instead of just one big tribe, there were actually 600 different tribes each with their own language about ten thousand years ago.
I have only one picture calendar this year with the sugar skulls and one magnetic one on the fridge with all the school holidays and public holidays marked, but no pictures. They get sent every year by political parties.

Yes, they are many and... boy.
How will one put it?
You have the "stolen generation", we have the "Jewish" ones... there are so many Stolpersteine here in Braunschweig alone....
In America the "Indians" and what about Mao.
People in the past (?) did so much wrong.
How come I get called a "whore" cause I do not cover my hair here in Germany?

I think back in the day people were way more intelligent, if in another, but good way, than today!!

Would you like to share the sugar skulls?

One comment for both of your posts today Iris. I want to know did you have to ask Ingo to stand between those wings, or did he just end up standing there? That's a good story, and I really like the image for April. Happy April to you. I hope you have a great start to the day. (And that's not an April Fool's Day joke either.) hugs-Erika

Erika, I think I asked Ingo to stand there ;-)
To a happy April and glad you liked the wise story, too, hugs

That was an interesting story, I imagine the indigenous people would have many more like that.
