My ticket for Elizabeth´s T - a sad drink... The Taco Guys re-opened as a burger place and closed so quick again I could not even have a taste. Sometimes it´s better to stick to what you can do!
The journal:
Monday: How cruel can a week start?! I was at book-store Graff at the cash out when the clock rang!
I don´t even know what books I was about to buy! Only that there was a lady playing the piano, moving it whilst doing so - fancy...
We move:
The travel-flowers from Ingo sure for 8 hours come to my work-place before returning to my private PC 🥰
And then! I will go to Australia, Pilbara!!! Fortescue!!! Super interesting!
OK. It´s but norms from Australian law considering fire management / batteries on trains (Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS) for Batterie Electric locomotives (BEL)), but, hey, I am safely back in Germany so this is a treat, and mM is really nice, too, I know him personally - yippija jeh!
And we as ESE are with them!!!
And certainly I went to Graff after work:
Yes. The first stories are about adventures in the Braunschweig trams!
And I learned we have a Christian Hope Church here. Seems despite the page is in English they encourage people to learn German, nice.
Tuesday: Norms, norms, norms. On train batteries.
And fL asked me all about our Perth holiday after Admin mE helped me with teams-setup.
So: Balance of work and nice people. Good!
Why I always put "f" and "m" in front? Because I now work with men AND women.
Most my working life was men only.
Am done with "Ghost Whisperer" and am now at "EUREKA" as no sport for 6 weeks.
All on DVD so in the original. Lazy fun.
Wednesday: Uneventful. More research for norms on train/rail batteries, other EUREKA on DVD.
WhatsApp-ed Bro if all is OK. He still waits for that to happen. Feels like 10+ years I get that answer.
Don´t know what to do. How can siblings be SO different???
I am glad Ingo listened to me and we have the life we have... I am glad I said no to my Dad´s offer to take over his business, too, and having braved up for an entirely different path.
Thursday:
VERY "work"-calm day. Started a book I got in Perth - see, I´d never betray Ingo but with this...
Written in the style those peeps speak.Took me two pages to adjust. But then... I know Aussie style, right? (KIDDING!)
Friday: I slept in. Like... totally.
And all I did was doing Ingo´s Perth laundry (yes, already!) and watch EUREKA.
For lunch I had a last pan pizza cause I forgot Friday is a day off and for the evening fish-fingers - proper meal for this Friday, huh.
Weekend: Saturday: ... slept in. Was soooo good. Basically: Grocery shopping, that was it.
Other EUREKA-marathon. Which is weird as Ingo got the whole Voyager series. But I wanna finish this first!
Sunday: I overslept Die Maus due to us switching to summer-time.
It was weird "this time" as we fight with all the times (Europe, WA (Western Australia), SA (South Australia), Europe in winter-time, Europe in Summer-time.
I SO wished we could stay in Summer-time!!!!
The "explanation" of saving light is from the middle ages with LED these times.
Only thing is it´s disturbing for people and animals alike!
Ingo watched Die Maus and said I missed nothing, was a bad show anyways.
Doing these pages I saw Saturday was fK´s Birthday, ACK!!!
So, munch-wise:

I LOVE Eureka and have the full box set. I haven't watched it in a long while though. Maybe one day soon I will start again. Is Voyager from the Star Trek series?
Yes to EUREKA and yes, from Star Trek, Voyager.
Wish me big luck. I got Vegemite from the Indian Pacific and as Ingo got toast I will give it another try!
...have a nice nap Henry!
Thanks, Tom!
Too bad your taco place failed again! I usually make them myself, but we have many choices of Mexican=type ingredients in our grocery stores so it’s easy.
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Well, yes, sad it is!
Too bad the taco place closed. Maybe another will open nearby, Iris.
RedPat, I hope for the best :-)

Carola, eigentlich findet man die Zutaten hier auch, das Problem ist eher die Faulheit ;-)
Mr. M. love the Mexican Cola and all of the other flavors too. I like it but there is too much sugar in it for me. Sorry about the Mexican food. I took Mr. M. to our favorite Mexican place here. The moved from their original space, to a bigger place. Well, that ruined everything about it. It is just another (not so great) Mexican restraunt. We were quite disappointed. Have a great day today. Mexican food or not. Ha ha ha.
I had Indian today :-) And tomorrow....
Sad the new restaurant is a disappointment! But, as you said, to a great day!
I absolutely LOVE that piano. You did a fabulous job drawing it and the flowers, too. Sorry about the restaurant. It was great to read that everyone from work is interested in your trip. Sorry, I'm not a fan of fish fingers. I absolutely adore Mexican cola. It is sweet because they use real sugar, not the sugar substitute mostly found in US Colas. Thanks for sharing your lovely calendar and your Mexican cola with us for T this Tuesday, dear Iris.
Forgot to mention, I also LOVED Eureka when it was on the SciFi channel. Haven't seen it in nearly a decade, I suspect. Good memories.
I liked Eureka and your sleep in. We have a storm coming and I think that will be my Thursday. Not that I want snow, but a sleep in sounds fabulous. That's too bad that restaurant closed quicker than quick. Maybe they should have stuck with Mexican food. I hope you had a super T day. hugs-Erika
I love your sketches, so descriptive of your days. I have never heard of Eureka, now I need to find it!
Elizabeth, oh. Thank you! I just quickly sketched the piano. I could´ve done better, I guess.... Now I feel a bit bad!
But big yes to people being not jealous, but interested in our Aussie-trip!
Oh, I had no idea about how special the Cola was.
Yes, I have reached Eurfeka in the 1940´s - supergreat!

Erika, ow, snow.... So sorry, maybe sleep through! Yes, sad about the restaurant. They were such nice guys, too! Hugs to that!

Sue, thank you and yes, check Eureka, it´s a fuin, great series!
I love your drawing of fish fingers! That made me laugh. Happy T Day!
How interesting about the Fortescue project! That is regenerative braking taken to a whole new level. Fascinating! Will that be the first ever train to have this technology or are there such trains already? I find it very exciting that you will be working on that project. Who knows. you might have to go to Aussie again, who knows...
Thank you for the Wise Man's story. I love it. Keep them coming please.
I read the review of Godpretty in the tabacco field, but I don't think it's for me. Let me know what you think.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
CJ, glad to make you laugh :-)
____
Lisca, I think this is the first train (to be) with that idea/technology!
I would not say no if they want me to visit - it´s the Outback after all!
Calendar will come and the book.... waste of time? So far at least. If it turns better I can send it to you (Europe-wide won´t be too expensive, right?).
Yes! Love all you doodlings! They are all brilliant fun! I have a little dog staying with me and all she wants is to sit on my lap all day long! Hope you had a great Easter and a happy late T for Tuesday! ((Lyn))
