Love This Motto

 I got E.T. there :-)

We have a new one here, too:

To books! To sharing!
See Alte Waage in the background?

This is for Tom´s Signs2.

We share, borrow, return. And....

"Albert Einstein's creative and brilliant quotes
About understanding

The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it can be understood."

Henry 🦁... sends his cousin again!

To books!

There is a mini library near "no-one's" workplace and she gets books from there sometimes and if they are good she lends them to me to read and then I put them back next time I go there. I leave some of my own books there too when I know it is a story I won't want to read again. Last month "no-one" found some "early learning" books there and took them to give to the twins.

Yes! I need more time, though....

Give and take, that is soooo good! I just don´t know what to do with mine as most are in the original/English and here people don´t want that. Sad, huh? Refusing to learn, to strive...

Yes to books. We were on the same wavelength today. And me, I have too many unread books too. But oh well. There is time to read them in the future.....maybe. hugs-Erika

...Iris, "Share, Borrow, Return" is a fabulous idea. One of our granddaughters start high school yesterday and is taking second year math! I most say that I like pie better than pi!

Wonderful sign! Love the concept of book sharing too.

That's a great little sharing library! It will survive bad weather easily. I was just talking about how I need to down-size with all my books. I did quite a bit when I moved 8 years ago. And I just realized I've added more, but haven't given away but 2 perhaps!

That is a great lending library, Iris.

I hope there will be time! I need to read and give away (what I have as paper-book) - hugs

I agree, Tom, I LOVE pie! Math... not so much...

Yes, I really need to read my paper-books and share.

I know of three such give-and-take-library here. The danger is... I might take one when I give some...

Iris Flavia said...

Yes, the first I found on TU campus in a British phone booth. Now I know of three and reckon there are more!

Who can understand the world? I sure can't.

I love the free libraries -- that's a wonderful motto!

THere are many “Little Free Libraries” in our neighborhood — much smaller than the one in your picture. For a while they often had very good books, but no more. Just junk. I don’t know why.

And there are more of them all over!

Sad about the junk!
