Learned: There are "Titanic-bacteria". Hm, well. Have never and will never watch the movie but saw some docu.

1936 today the Currywurst was "born". This was in the news, too.
Back in the day my then "VW-Team-Boss" sent this song to every team-member on Thursdays, as that was "Currywurst Day" and we ALL went.
Volkswagen produces it´s own Currywurst that you can buy in some groceries here in Braunschweig (and other VW-places), see here. Own ketchup included.
Wiki: "The product has been described as the most-produced of any of Volkswagen's parts, with some 7 million sausages made in 2019."... I think they also build cars.

Weekend: Saturday: Ingo booked Helgoland on top!! I need a barf bag!!! My Mom ate Labskaus from one when she went to work there to shock tourists (it looks like puke but is very yummy).
Unlike my Brother I am fine on rocky boats and can do that, too!
I still have the winter-coat Mom bought in the 1960 there.

I saw the most beautiful dress on sale.

Yes, maybe it was too much money, but it´d made me happy.
It was so beautiful. Now... maybe that was GOOD.
I don´t want any new clothes anymore. I have too many already!
Throw the "bad" food away, we have enough money but 30 bucks was too much.

Somehow currywurst has never come to the USA. I think I ate one in Germany once, but maybe it was just a hot dog. Funny how different countries have different comfort foods. That’s bizarre about VW.

Yay for balcony days! I'm spending as much time as I can in the sunroom as soon it will be too cold to be out there. Max is very cute. Ink didn't like having his picture taken either. He would look straight at the camera and I'd be thinking this is a great shot. And then he would turn his head just as I snapped the picture! 😺 Happy T Day
What a full week! I've never heard of currywurst. We never NEED new clothes but sometimes we just love and want them, and that should be honored.
I haven't bought any new clothes in ages. Haven't really been in many stores since covid.

I'm fascinated by the whole currywurst story. I have never heard of it, let alone knew it was made by Volkswagen. I listened to the song but couldn't understand a word (apart from 'Currywurst').
Ingo not letting you buy a dress? What is all that about? If you want to buy a dress, you go and buy a dress! I know you are on a budget but a little indulgence is healthy, and at the end of the day, you have a job and are earning money. I would be highly offended if my husband told me off about buying something. Obviously big things we would discuss, but 30 euros is not a big amount.

Grandpa is looking good. Been a long time since I bought new clothes, I always look around charity shops and see what they have and usually I can find what I need.
Strange, I thought the VW-Currywurst was known everywhere. The song is about Currywurst in general.
He sings in slang from Bochum. After work many have that dish, it´s an "hommage" :-)
Yes I was mad at Ingo, but then it was maybe really bad quality and then I would not have happy, either.

I have a little madness, every week over and over I buy a lottery ticket hoping to win and be rich or at least a bit richer than now (I have nothing).
