From last week, again on the way to the castle, again the artist was long gone and this time so many people´d walked over this chalk-mural I could not even see whom this was about.
Why are people so disrespectful, why can´t they walk around it?
That´s like tagging with your feet. Makes me sad.
Someone was there down on his knees, creating this. (Pretty sure it is the man I saw before, the style is the same).
This is for Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals.
The series:
"Are these the worst decisions in history? Few will have heard of Edwin Drake (1819–1880), which is unfortunate, since he was one of the United States' first oilmen. In 1858, he was the first American to successfully drill for oil. He could have earned millions, but he failed to patent the drilling technique he invented. He also squandered his savings on senseless oil speculation and died impoverished."

Painted Henry is stunning! People walk over murals here too, when the mall is crowded you can't always have room to step around and once the artist is finished a few will stop and look but most simply don't care.
I am old. I expect respect. Walk around, please! And care about art! Science, super-important, but without art there is no joy.
Henry is really, really beautiful today. About your German lesson: Smile Iris or laugh out loud!! It's your language and that's it. You dont need that stuff.
The mural is beautiful. I would also walk around it, but first stop and admire it. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.
fK said so, also (about German) - but I need to do a test!!! Meeeeeep.
Yes, and the pic is so "bad" because "I was in the way". I had time for a quick shot only.
I should´ve ... "Fahrradkette"... I made room. Will I ever learn to "stand my man"?
I can't imagine stepping on that portrait, Iris.
...Henry, you are so handsome!
