Dream On

Mural taken on March 1st 2019 in Perth, I think it must´ve been somewhere near...

She is in Howard Street, read about her here, if you like.
It was my last day in Perth CBD. Ingo stayed home, he needed to rest.

This was right next:

Ingo took off today to work before 05:00 am, I always hear that.

Around 06:00 am I heard someone walking past the bedroom door, I heard the telly on, it was on Corinna, darn Covid, what else.
I panicked - had someone broken in, had Ingo not closed the door properly?
With all the beautiful rain our wooden floor came up and I need power to work the door, maybe Ingo ...?

Ingo was home. In sweat, shivering, sick, wanting me to call the doc, but I could not read the number.

It was a very, very real... dream.
And then I find these murals in my files.
What a start to the week.

Don´t you plain hate those dreams that are so detailed you "think"  it´s reality?
Not aware you´re sleeping?
I get up 06:25, usually (no clock needed), I still have no job, hence no reason to get up that early as Ingo does. I got up immediately. Heart pounding like crazy.

Hope it gets better....

Henry 🦁

It is the real Henry, in Dankwarderode Castle, due to pollution.

P.S. Thanks To Amy I know  why I had that bad dream.
Ingo´d ordered food from a restaurant and you never know if he can "take" it.
And I got a number + address for a new doc.

Both those murals are very different. I think I like the first one best. Yes, I've had dreams so realistic I thought they were real. They are only vivid when I wake suddenly. I don't remember them otherwise.

The second is a bit scary, as was that darn dream.
And sadly I remember them! It was so real.

Funny murals. I like the Judith statue. That was a scary dream. I once had a scary dream that my screaming woke me up with my heart pounding away like crazy.

gosh he gets up early, no one wants a dream like that where their partner is sick, covid puts such pressure on all of us, it's so worrying.

Nancy, yes, it was great to find Judith!
Oh, boy, I never dreamed so bad I screamed, but my heart was pounding like crazy, too!

Amy, yes. I used to get up 04:40. And I hope for that again!
You have a whole afternoon after 8 hours work like that (I don´t need much sleep).
It is ... yes. Hard with a chronic sick partner.
We had Greek food from a restaurant, maybe that caused the dream...

Good morning Iris: Some dreams you can barely remember a moment after waking up, yet others seem so real that you would swear they were not merely a dream. Crazy, huh?

Yes, David, crazy. (lunch time here, bon appetit :-)...)
I think that happens when you have to take care of another person...

...the murals are fabulous. Pollution affect us all, even Henry!

The murals are fun and funny, but a bit like a nightmare. They start out looking okay but change into something scary. I hate those dreams just before you wake up. They are so real and vivid.

Cool mural Iris. The first face is my favorite. I am curious why he has a word bubble knife?

I'm aware of vivid dreams, but so rarely remember.

Sorry for your bad dream Iris, that was very realistic and scary!
Do you know that I've never seen that statue or murals? Will have to visit Howard street when I visit the city next time. Very strange!
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris :)

I like those murals, but for the rest I feel sorry for you.

I like those murals, they are very nice. Glad someone decided to take Henry out of the pollution. Makes you think what it does to the people who breathe it every day. Scary dreams, I had a few and don't like them at all. Enjoy your evening!

Oh gosh! I know those unpleasant and very realistic dreams. It's very difficult to shake them off. :-/
I'm sure the discovery of these murals helped. Cute stuff, as always.

Keep waking up early. Keep blogging. Take care, Iris. <3

I often have bad dreams and they are not fun and can put you in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

I really like the murals but I love that statue. I have very vivid dreams and most of the time my dream time is way better than real life. :)
