T Stands For Thyme.. Time AT The Bay

In case of earworm, here goes:

                            .

Let´s waste...  Waste? WORDLWIDE! USA, Brazil, Japan, Italy, Cuba!!!... We all "waste" time!
Time is what we have, if nothing else. Sad for some.

I worked for darn money and WASTED my time like that.
Twice had bad colleagues (mostly great ones) and today have a... hello, Corinna, a phone-job-interview (wish me luck? I feel so nervous and sick already...).

What does that mean, enjoy? Let´s ENJOY time cause now...
Now it´s thyme.... (to say thank you, hope you had the sound on on that video and heard LOADS of them, those thank you´s)

... for my friend Grace 😘

Tiger has herbs again and I sure helped myself (I payed, of course!).

 Rødekro.. hmmm Røderkro? Just cool.

I wasted my taste-buds on this:

Igitt... That´s what the German says, pronounced like "Eee....." Like in Eeee... "git" (like in "get"). ?
Just say Ewww. That nails it.
Even the cam could not take it!

Had some minutes on the balcony with a great book yesterday till some neighbour started  "cooking" with soooo much garlic, I nearly fell from my chair.
A bit of summer... gone. Yikes. "Igitt". IGITT.
If you cannot cook... use LOADS of garlic?!

Take lemon instead 😉 (to RedPat)

The journal...

Had a nice chat at the bakery.
And got a great book.
And watercolors (I am at it, promised....)

Sent a pressie to Lille Niece and Ingo saved my cam.

Niece called and it was warm enough for enjoying a book on the balcony.
After I had to get winter-Gurri out!!!

Got another cool book! Shoot, and I´m reading one  - I need time!
Went recycling and KaBOOM. W. right in front of the door! No idea how he does this! Guess at age 80+ you just sense when someone comes out? One time he´ll give me a heart attack! (Ingo announces when coming in for a kiss cause I´m jumpy).

I got lost. My T hates this city. Cause he gets lost. Mimimi. I got lost.

Sewed - after Ingo helped me with the machine. It was so rewarding. I put a cheapy-Gurri to my size. Ironed and then... no needles.. I...

Being small can be a pain, but next summer.. haha!!!
And I learned... I can sew on the board where I do the ironing. (our condo is small).

Then Baby-Peanut visited me, oh, it was sooo sweet.
Freddie was on TV.
It hurt. First three words and the German speaker talked him down, "translating" him.
Then Footie - yippeeeee. Same.
Will we ever be allowed to choose?
"Die Maus" wanted to travel. Hahaha, Corinna....

This certainly is for Elizabeth´s "T Stands For Tuesday"

Henry 🦁

"... a friend took my pic. She isn´t feeling well so I say 'Hi!' in her name."
Good boy, you.
For screaming out loud - I got the same meds, they´re no good....

I did waste my time during this pandemic. Then I try to do plant something in the garden. Great to harvest and enjoy the garden produce. When I was pregnant with my first child, I couldn't stand the smell of fried garlic but now it is okay with me. You have a nice portable sewing machine. Is it a Singer brand?

Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nancy, yes, it´s a Singer (Ingo always gives the best!) and ... too late to get a child, reckon garlic will never be my friend ;-)

Bertiebo, thank you. I feel like I need to throw up.
The waiting is the worst part.
Or... is it.

Happy T-day, Iris. Wishing you luck on the interview!

How cool you are sewing, reading good books, doing watercolors, and cooking - all fabulous things. I wish I could sew. I have tried a few times, but it is a talent I have not yet acquired.

The cider looks fab! Have a great week and hoping for good news for you.

Rødekro ;) Never even been there, but Bo from Rødekro sounds nice. I also bought spices today.
Poor, worn Henry. I saw a porcelain-Henry while shopping for spices, but I had lend my camera to hubby, hence no photos.

Igitt! Stop all those Captchas already
Zweimal Zebrastreifen, Einmal je Busse und Brandhanen.

...this Play for Change is the first one that I had heard and it's still a favorite.

I hate having my time wasted.

Best of luck with the interview Iris. Fingers crossed!!
Great signs on the herbs, very cute.
Rhubarb cider could be nice, I've only had rhubarb pie.
It's been ages since I used my sewing machine, but I do have a few things to mend, so one of these days I'll put it on my desk.

I like to chose when I waste my time, not have other people decide for me. That is so frustrating when that happens. I love that red polka dot fabric you sewed and fixed. I know about being small-although not as skinny as I used to be. Sadly!!!!! That cider sounds good. Here everything is pumpkin now. It is that time of year. Hope you are having a super T day Iris. hugs-Erika

One of the best songs ever! Good luck with your interview.

I'm so short that pants -even for petites- are always way too long. I used to alter them, but now I just roll them up lol Of course I'm past needing to care what anybody thinks of that ;)

Love that summer song! And those herbs are ones I use quite often, along with rosemary.
Good luck with your interview. Let us know when you get the job:)
Wonderful illustrations in your diary, and your sewing is impressive as well.
Happy T day !

Loving those herb packets, so clever! I love Ottis Reading and will now be singing this song for the rest of the day ...lol 😀. Your sewing machine is gorgeous, such a pretty colour and style! So much lovely details on your journal pages and Henry is very grand this week too! Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x

Those herb packets are wonderful. I loved the play on words, too.

Now I will have an ear worm all day. Maybe if I concentrate on your watercolors in your weekly calendar, it will go away.

I'm not a fan of rhubarb. No amount of lovely signage can change how I feel about it. It just makes cider taste bad, I suspect (grin). Thanks for sharing your herbs, your calendar pages, and your cider with us for T this Tuesday, Iris. Henry looks vicious in that photo, dear.

I had so many things I was going to do when we first got locked down last year, still not done.

You are enjoying our Canadian cider!! Not sure about rhubarb.

I think I’m vampire 🧛‍♂️ i hate garlic. Igitt! 🤢 I can’t sew even though my mother was a seamstress. I can sew on buttons. And is that a French bread pizza? I love those just no garlic. Hope the interview went well. 🍀🐷 Happy T Day

Good luck on your phone interview. I would be nervous, too - I hate the phone.
But herbs - especially herbes de Provence - yum! And garlic (sorry...)
Your journal is so lovely. Of course, ich liebe die Maus!!!
Igitt - tolles Wort, und drückt so genau aus, was es ist.
(And here you have a typical me, switching from English to German and back.)

Your Singer machine is lovely!
What fun packages on your herbs. They would look great in an art journal layout.
Too bad the bread wasn't tasty, it looks yummy.
Can't wait to hear about your new book and watercolors.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I am an Otis Redding fan and love that song; it is from my era, you know. I listened while I read your blog and heard all the thank yous. I probably waste a lot of time, but try to use it wisely. :) Happy T Day!

You put me to shame, I have sewing that needs to be done, little dresses for the little redhead dolls, but they are so tiny, it's going to be tricky and fiddly. one day I will get the machine from behind the door and make a start.

I'm sorry I'm late again in commenting. Tuesday is a day we usually are away from home and as Blogger doesn't like iPhones or iPads, I cannot do anything until I get back home to my desktop. Sometimes this is quite late, so here I am on Wednesday...
How did your interview go??
Those herb packages are great! And so funny (body odour from a non-descript danish town, lol) I watched the video as I love Otis Redding and have sweet memories of this particular song. All these guys are great. I loved how they put it all together. Thanks for sharing that.
I love rhubarb (and I can't get it here) I really miss it. Rhubarb crumble, rhubarb orange pie yummm.
Thank you for showing me Henry in the Netherlands.
Great that you are now sewing and mending clothes on your cute sewing machine.
I actually love garlic but if you can smell from your neighbors, then it was definitely too much, Yuck. Or should I say igitt?
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

I just love this post. Wishing you luck. I love your sewing machine and that you are using it. I do not waste time. Especially during lock down. I made sure we had a garden full of food. Otis Redding was my fave and this song played on the radio many times a day.

SO glad Baby Peanut is back. And I admire your dewing -- that's something I don't do. Thanks for the Otis Redding clip. I love that song! Happy week!
