Makes no sense, this pic for Freddie´s letter "Z"?
I had to come up with something starting with "z", right
We zealously traveled.
This pic is from 1995 and I wanted a helicopter and will never again climb and cross this:
In my defense, my arm was just starting to heal and climbing is not a good idea, I was totally worn out reaching the top... down is even worse and then through that whole thing, I was in tears from pain and being exhausted.
But I managed without a heli. Ingo cooked and I fell asleep with empty stomach, not again.
I would never dare to compare myself with Freddie Mercury, but I think in many ways we, especially Ingo, are eager, keen, desirous, enthusiastic, duteous, excited - all words for zealous (and please keep in mind I´m no native tongue...).
I mean at age 8 Freddie made it on his own from Zanzibar to Mumbai to his new school!!!
That I not only call brave, but also duteous!
Freddie (from the book Freddie Mercury A to Z):
Sketch from his boarding school in India.
I gave my AKUBRA - which you can see as a crown - to my Mum and who knows where that is, reckon my Brother has no idea what an AKUBRA is...
But I know my Mum loved that very special hat.
Can you believe my parents let me take off with an 8 years older man at age 23 after being together only some months to a journey like this?!
I´m sad the alphabet has no more letters.
It was fun to zealously try to come up with something related from our life and there were many a memories.
I hope you enjoyed the little series.
Henry 🦁
Or forget our Mum´s Birthday, I nearly did. She would´ve turned 80 today.

This is so interesting. I was telling my foodie friend Sally about the book. She was telling me he was an artist before he was a musician. I was wondering where you got the book? I would like to buy one for Sally. She LOVES Freddie as much as you, but she also loves Queen. Never mind, I found it on Amazon!
I love the Akubra hats and wish I could afford one. Maybe one day. Sad to see the end of the Freddie stories.
Elizabeth, yes, I got it from Amazon - other it´s hard to get books in English here, especially such special ones - oh, it will make a great gift!!!

River, yes, so sad. Ingo said, back then the Akubra was $80, now it may be $200! And even back then that was expensive AUD$ of course, you could not buy them in Germany, online was but a dream!).
My Acubra.. not just a Hat. Kept me away from dehydrating and the inlet was actually a bright white ! The color may be become from km's or (thyme, thanks to Grace) in Australia.
Hehehe :-) Insider, eh.
You were an adult at 23. Bill is 10 years older than me. I was 18 when we got together. We moved in together a few weeks after we met, and by the time we had known one another for a year we were married and had our daughter. I was still a teenager. That was over 41 years ago. My parents did not attend the wedding. His mother was dismayed when he told her we were getting married, but she came and eventually decided it was OK--after the first decade or so.
We both made the right choice when we were young! 😃
Oh, boy, what a love-story 😍
Here it was different but my parents took it easy.
You were still a teenager? Oh, I left that dumb man when I got into him after 5 dumb years, and got a second chance - glad you made it to the point (of your heart).
Yes, young hearts can take it right.
That is one very cool hat
I like the hat.
...Z is a tough one, let’s do away with it. My MIL wasn’t happy that her little girl was marring me.
CJ, Yes! :-)

I'd like a hat like that too!
That is a Great hat!
I didn't know what an akabura was either and now I do. Ingo looked very dashing in his! Three cheers on a successful alphabet. You did well indeed!
RedPat, best buy it right there. Hahaha, Corinna...
