Back To School (?)

08:02 a.m. we were back at school. I went in first (Ingo is a gentleman).
Hence...

I had time to take pics, hence.

A bit blurry... cause my cam could not understand this is needed these days, nor could I (really, I think at times my cam decides!!!! It is alive!)

How about your place, are rules like this needed these days? Here we go:
  • we are friendly with each other
  • we speak polite  with each other
  • I don´t laugh at nobody
  • we help each other
  • stop does mean stop!
  • I walk slowly and silently through school (hahaha, no kid does that, ever! ... but me)
  • I am careful with mine and other´s belongings
When I was young I learned all this at home!
You stomp? You get a reason to cry!

And this.. was it  worth going there early on a Sunday where you´re supposed to sleep in?

I hope we made a difference. I feel ashamed for everyone who does not even try, no matter how bad the situation is!

This says
  • beings need air
  • air burns
  • warm air expands and goes up
  • air pushes from all sides
  • air does have weight
  • air is drifting
  • air carries
  • air needs room
Are we all but air? I find myself there, kinda.

Out we went.

How about you? Good memories of school-years?
Me... not so much.
I was the smallest and came puberty boys grabbed me and played with me like with a ball - they never dropped me, but it was awful and the teachers thought it was fun.
Yes, I "hugged" them - out of fear! Clinging on  is more correct - how can teachers think this is a fun game?!!!!
Asking for help was out of the question.
In all those years I had but three great teachers, three!

NOW!!!
We work together, we learn from each other, it is plain wonderful, constructive, fun!
Last week... so much!!!

Ha. If you think, yah... boring.... look!

This is an old building, so nice!
And I reckon you know what we did on a Sunday "early" morno at school, right?

I have no faith into politics no more. After Merkel, the "Mutti" (mama) of Germany who invited anyone to come here etc, blabla we have a smurf now.
Can´t get worse.

To those who do not vote: shame on you!
Especially women!!!
So many in the past fought for the right and these days so many are too lazy to go.

Too lazy!!!

I do not expect my vote counts much - but I did my best!

That's great they let you walk around the school. That wouldn't happen here during voting. But I do wonder if in the past everyone knew the rules about being nice, etc. There was a lot of bullying and kids being made to feel bad or left out. I'm also not sure that has gone away now. But it is good to remind the kids what is expected of them. Better to be transparent and post it than to punish a kid who doesn't know that they shouldn't do that. Have a great end of your weekend. Hugs-Erika

Like Ericka said, you wouldn't be allowed to wander through a school here on voting day. I have mostly happy memories of school. Was ist ein Smurf?

Here you have to stay strictly within the voting area during voting. I agree it's shameful that folks don't vote. I don't understand it.

My own school memories are mixed.

It's a beautiful building, I love the staircase. I knew you were voting, because here many places to vote are also schools. I always vote, but have no faith in politics anymore.
I think many schools have such signs now for kids to learn because some don't learn these things at home. I did and most in my generation did too, but these days kids are not so caring and sharing if they grow up with only themselves and no siblings, they need to learn sharing and caring at school. Maybe.

We have a city vote on Oct 24 but we will not be able to wander about in the school when we get there. I always vote.

Tom, encouragement is good - thiswas rather sad to me! Manners should be taught at home!

____

Erika, we had to follow rules, too ;-)
Kids, hm. I think these days it´s worse, bad, even.
And... shouldn´t we know how "to human"?
Footy here, great end of the weekend, hugs!

______

CJ, we had to follow paths in that school, too.
You are lucky not knwing smurfs!!!
Reckon they have more brains than our chancellor, though, each of them...

____

Divers and Sundry... Hm. Now I really am sad I didn´t try to find out if I can go where I want in that school!
There are signs showing you the exit,l but no one checking on you!
This quarter is like a village, there simply is trust.

River, yes and yes!
And no!
I think most of the disbehaviour comes from Muslims.
I have to say that. 3rg ... or by now 4th generation here in Germany and having Turkish TV/Internet and all (I had such a colleague who shared this info... proudly)...

etc etc.. this is not a political blog.
But, especially in cities like Berlin many do not speak German...

____

RedPat, we did not "wander" - but who knows ... we might´ve tried! Our quarter is like a village - there is trust.

In my school, nuns ran the show and you better listen up or you would be in trouble. I had a friend who was expelled for punching a nun in the face. Crazy times back then in the 60s.

There's a municipal election here in a couple of weeks. I really have to get to an advance poll sometime soon.

Those are really good points for adults and children to remember, maybe it should be up everywhere.
