We have a stray here - I guess. A bit chubby even and loves a belly-rub from those who are willing to join (me!!!).
I was told cats don´t like belly-rubs but this black beauty does!
I think for "now" it´s the closest I come to petting a cat.
I had a colleague, two black cats (we all talked via MS teams, LOL) and a black chair - very dangerous!!

Your cats sketch is very good. my daughter always had black cats, but won't be having any more pets now since Missy died. I'm the same, no more pets after Lola dies. She is only 13, so we have lots of years left. Missy was 21.

Yes, I can imagine when you lose a pet-friend you think more than twice if to go through it again. To decide if you can one more time give and get so much love and then let go so early again.
I had a mouse... She lived to some Granma-age of 2 1/2... clever and caring she was. I was at school when she passed. I was 14 and am still sad thinking of her.
Darn it with the stupid post office here, I am sorry!!!!
P.S since I work from home my home address is the to-be one, I just need to know a circa-date so I can activate the bell.
My post-office guy said he got 5 parcels for me - I had no info and he is not allowed to inform me, so that way does not work, either. Germany.... I lost a DVD, a book, a poster that way. The rest I have not even an idea of!

Cats will only show their belly to you if they trust you. The kitty recognizes you are a very special person.

I used to have a cat who loved belly rubs too, his eyes would glaze over and he would fall asleep while getting his belly rubbed. Cats love belly rubs. Till they don't! Then they swipe out at you, so be fast, be aware of claws! But gentle rubs, Lizzie, at least, loves. I hope your cat becomes less a stray and more a family member!
