(Excuse the glasses-galore, I´m still figuring out the best ones - having a Brother as Optometrist can be a pain 😎)
I´m joining Elle from Empire of the Cat with "green man".
From... Outta Space, A Toy Story or.. for real...
Year 2000. My Brother went to Maccas non-stop... well, often... to buy the kid´s menu because he wanted Buzz Lightyear.
One day we drove to the cinema in the next city, him and I, to watch the movie and he presented me with this figure - with the words: "He´ll bring you luck on your job-search!"
No kidding, a couple of weeks later I got my first job I kept for 18 years.
And Buzz still works, too!
My quick interpretation (he came out a little thin somehow):
Always good to have a big Sister as an excuse to eat burgers and stuff, huh?
I also joined Tom of course.
I also joined Tom of course.

To good times, and safe ones...

...I know little or nothing of Buzz.
Well, it´s actually for kids, but adults find some wisdom (and fun) there, too!
I never saw those films- for one simple reason: a deep dislike of the actor voicing that character.
Yes, I agree, then it´s a no-go! Ingo never understands I watch movies because I like the actor or do not watch for the other direction!
We have one of those Buzz figures too.
Nice! Hope not as many kid´s menus were involved ;-)
Wonderful! I love Buzz!
CJ, yes - and a great memory, too!

craftytrog, the movies were such fun!
That is a nice toy that did bring you a long lasting job. Gigi hawaii
Haha good stuff Iris! I love your interpretation of the green man prompt, I would not have thought of Buzz but it makes sense. Your drawing of course is great as usual, beam me up Buzz! He must also have magical powers to land you a job for 18 years! Thanks for joining me for the October theme at Art Journal Journey this month Elle/Empire of the Cat xx
This is a great take on the Green man. How can anyone not love Buzz? This drawing is perfect for Elle's challenge at AJJ, and I'm glad you joined in. To infinity and beyond! hugs-Erika
gigi, yes, I have to think my Brother big!

Elle, the other green men run out here, slowly, plus, they are frogs ;-)
I also had a cup with Buzz and bought one for Bro, too. No idea where either is, sadly! But I still have this one xx

Erika, yes, "To infinity and beyond!" - hopefully with Alstom! Hugs!
I love the first two Toy Story movies, I haven't yet watched #3&4. I don't remember who did the voices and if it is just voices it doesn't matter to me who the actor behind the scenes is. I can focus on the story and the character and enjoy the movie.
Hurray for Buzz! He's definitely earned his place at AJJ and Elle's theme! Hugs, Chrisx
