Eat Like The Gods

Pic of this sign taken in Celler Street, Braunschweig.
We never visited so far, but we might, as another - yet another (Greek) restaurant had to close due to COVID.

We ate like Gods, kinda, too, anyways, till yesterday, recipe and pics will follow tomorrow.

We have many new eateries opening up all over the places and many are also closing down after some time if business was not good enough to sustain their operation. This morning I had a cup of Nescafe.

...we only occasionally eat out, most meals we eat at home.

Sounds good

Erika, it was a good day :-)
Tea, though, no coffee. And "best-before-gone-food", as usual ;-) Hugs

CJ, I do must have a look - I think he has tea on offer, too. No! I do know!

Tom, same here. Especially since I can do it! :-)

It's sad to see restaurant closures, especially restaurants that have been around a while :( I'm still not eating inside at restaurants, though -choosing take-out, delivery, or patio dining- so I'm guessing people like me are part of the problem :(

Take away/delivery is what we do too, if at all.
Especially now with coughing, normal flu´s etc also on the way.
Plus we can cook ;-)
Yes, yes, I feel sorry so many - also shops - have to close down...

As soonas I saw that sign, I thought "It's a Greek Restaurant!" Something about the writing font style!

Yes, maybe some day we try it - if it stays open....

I hope you get to try it. I've had a "Greek Salad" from the supermarket, pre-packaged in a bowl, and it was nice, but I haven't ever had any restaurant Greek food. I don't eat out, that's why. It's just too expensive and if I don't like the food, then the money really is wasted.
