My panto - I forgot to take pics on the InnoTrans in Berlin...
Ingo ordered this:
Was a very tough day yesterday.
So the pressie really made big up for it!
To get back to the subject... Family Day ALSTOM in Salzgitter.. I haven´t finished that yet, care for a look?
Thankfully my teamleader (and his girlfriend) met up with us so I think we saw nearly everything, explanations included.
I think Ingo was a bit bored as my teamleader can go very much into detail, LOL.
His girlfriend already trying to pull him forwards shows it, huh.
We went all inside the real workplaces, I got to see for real what I usually see only on technical drawings.
As you see not many found their way into the heart of the plant - it was mostly empty, we were lucky.
News last week: "ALSTOM delivers the most advanced train supervision control system available today on a large scale in Italy" - cannot show you, was on Intranet, yet... I work for some great people (if as external again, alas...)
Henry 🦁
Keep your fingers crossed we get it done.
Delivery is soon and we are not ready....
I would break down if I had to leave.
I don´t even like traveling by tram or train but the technical complexity is so exciting.
Whenever I go out I see Braunschweig trams I say, "hi panto" when I see "him" (in German a panto is male) - so Ingo took care the new toy tram has a "real" panto 😍

You should be very proud of the work you do, it's so important.
That´s the hard part! Before, at VW in the online-project, someone maybe tried to download a pic from my work and failed. Now... uh-oh!
Real people hopefully soon will step into the tram and get transported.
If we fail....real accidents might happen.
Happened last summer with a train here in Germany and suddenly the boss didn´t want to sign unless 100% sure - should´ve been the case from the start 2 years ago!
...Alstom restores subway cars from NYC in nearby Hornell, NY. You should come and visit.
This looks like a fun day out, even if your team leader is a big detail person. And maybe I am wrong, but isn't there a drink called jagermeister? Happy Saturday Iris. hugs-Erika
Tom, I would love to!!!
Maybe you can provide some pics?
___
Erika, yes, I think it´s known and enjoyed world-wide, Jägermeister.
I love that my teamleader explains in detail!
I love to learn and understand. He´s a great guy :-) Hugs and to learning (how do the bees do?)
I like that blue train. Sweet of Ingo to give you a present. Very cool tour of the railway factory. Boston's transit system is an awful mess. Maybe you should come and show them how it's done right.
CJ, we struggle ourselves!
I came to the project and was told straight away it´s chaos. And it is!
German Bahn is even worse - ask Ingo, LOL.
I see the complexity now and it´s overwhelming.
Unreal - I Missed This Update - I Am So Proud Of You - Congrats My Friend
Big Hugs
Interesting interiors.
A lovely present indeed!
That was a thoughtful gift from Ingo. He is a keeper.
Ingo knows what you like and how hard you work. Great present indeed!
