MONSTER-FFO And Smiles

Another weird week, so I join Nicole´s FFO with a pic of a MONSTER as I can´t find the joy to sketch....
This is Elmo from Sesame Street and Ingo´s late Grandma made him socks for winter-time matching the ones she made for me.
Summer takes a break again, maybe the socks come out now...

For our second trip to Australia Ingo´s Mom made clothes for Elmo and cow (Kuh) Kuhni.
 Counts as faces?
Yes, we are childish like that, I refuse to grow up (Ingo did a little bit).

Now, for Annie´s Smiles....

I think this is so lovely.
Now for some funnies, OK?

I LOVE the Golden Girls - how about you?

Since I work from home... I win.

Sometimes colleagues really have no clue.... glad I work from home and can turn off the mike to have a laugh...

And then this - thank you, River:

The Supernatural-crew is just SO FUNNY!!!

Life must be fun! And timing... well... let´s do that!

Ingo: "G..... we have no time here in Australia!"
Friend G´d suggested a longer journey.
G, looking at her pizza: "Ingo, we DO have thyme here in Australia!!!"

To busy, fun times and friends!

Henry 🦁

 To a great Friday.

It's true, thyme is plentiful, while time is not.
I liked seeing the supernatural crew again.

I love little Elmo, great photo of you both in socks. The summer seems to be resting here too although it looks bright this morning and it's not raining. Hope it's saving itself for when we go away at the end of August, fingers crossed. Sending hugs, Angela xXx

I love how you and Elmo have matching socks. How cute that your mom made clothes for Elmo and Kuhni. It's good not to grow up, at least not all the way.

Sorry to read you had a tough week Iris. I love how Elmo has matching socks. And I wouldn't say you didn't grow up. I'd say you still are full of childlike play and wonder. Childlike- not childish. I hope the weekend improves for you!!!! hugs-Erika

Elmo's socks made me smile. My youngest daughter had a favourite knitted toy that had long snags/pulls in the knitting from age....my hubby trimmed them off to tidy him up!!! Yes you guessed it...it fell apart with holes everywhere so I knitted long socks, arms, and body parts to repair him...the original fitted inside and to be honest there was little that didn't have a new cover but thankfully I got away with it :-)
Hugs,
Annie x

Thanks for the laughs!!🤣 I like Elmo's socks. Very cute. The sandy outback shot reminds me of my desert, although the sand is a lighter in color and not so reddish.

Eclecticity, glad you liked it :-)
