T STands For Summer-VisiT

In German when times get weird you say "affig", "ape-ly" - times are weird but this clearly is a Gibbon.
And with this cutie I join Elizabeth´s T.

The journal (can someone join me?):

Monday: Work, chats and .. it warmed up!!! And Ingo complained. Too hot at his work-place, not hot enough at home for me!
And, hahaha, NOW they advertise "Sleepy Hollow" on TV 11:45 p.m.
Pfffblt - I watch in the original whenever I WANT!

Tuesday: Had a question and teams-ed my teamlead. Oh boy!! "I missed you!!!"
LOL, sometimes I have a question straight away, which is 06-something a.m. and she said she´s still half asleep still, so I waited - also I had no questions...
We had a nice, long chat. And my problem got solved. And she said I do a good job. Phew (it´s hard times atm, so this really was a great relief!!!)

Wednesday: I´d sent mC tractor pics via private account on Friday, see here, if you like.
BOOM, he called, in his "fish-head"-accent -  a nice very early start into the day!

Thursday: Customer-project not booked in yet, went to my teamlead after "waking up-time" - "I was long awake, just not able to work", she replied.
Cooking tips from admin mT - yummy egg with bread I had cause I had no time... but I know for when I have time, right?

Friday: Day off, start with The Simpsons. Lisa runs away from a wild, seemingly aggressive aries, knocks in panic at Mr. Burns door and yells "wilde Bestie!!! (wild biest!!!).
Burns answers as if he was addressed: "Liberaler Zwerg..." (liberal dwarf....) and let´s her in.
I LOVE The Simpsons!
BBQ!!!!! Firefighter, Cigar and 7-year old Cuban rum. Sometimes I have clever ideas, huh?
Summer is rare here...

Weekend: Saturday: Grocery, went to the self-check out and said "hi" to the supervising-lady, well, I always do.
She was new and surprised.
Those are human beings  -  I ALWAYS say hi.
Nice BBQ and loads of talk.
Sunday: A WONDERFUL fairy-tale.
Oh, and rain, I love rain.

Munchy:

I'm glad summer has arrived for you. It is hot, hot, hot here. You would love it. Not for me. I want cool. I will even take cold because I can add layers, but not so in summer.

Glad you are getting along so well with your team and having fun at the same time. I adore that tractor you drew. So cute and clever. Love the drawing of the BBQ grill. Your munchy reminded me of a teddy bear!!

Nice Mate ginger drink you shared for T this Tuesday, dear Iris. Thanks for sharing your drink and calendar pages with us for T this Tuesday.

Happy July Iris. I love the smiling tractor and the chef too in your journal. Summer is really here warm or chilly. We've had a little of both lately. I've got a crazy day, so I'm keeping this short but I wanted to stop by- Happy T day and happy July! hugs-Erika

Your sketches are fun to see. Ginger flavor is always good — I love it in candy, soda, and Chinese stir-fries.
Have a great week.

I really love that although you don't work every day in an office, you know and have a very good bunch of relationships with your colleagues. Sigh for ginger -- I love it! And the drawings are cute, especially the tractor!

Summer will warm you up, hopefully it will stay. It's 15 here and no rain. :) We see tractors everyday motoring down the street. Sometimes the little boys are driving them. I believe they can gat a license to drive tractors at 16.

Iris Flavia said...

Jeanie, teams is a wonderful alternative to being there in person. And yes to ginger!
The tractor now blushes ;-)

Bill, little boys are driving tractors??? OK 16 is OK I drove our 5er-BMW at age 14 ;-)

I guess blogger doesn't like me enough to publish my comments :(

Iris Flavia said...

Carola, oh. Bei heiß kann ich gut aber furztrocken dazu, da fall ich um, das ist gräßlich!
Ach und dann noch Feuerwerk, na super, nein, die meisten lernen nicht. "Party" ist alles, was zählt.
Ich wünsche euch Regen, schick doch mal warmes Wetter rüber, 12C ist kein Sommer!

Lisca, traveling is so wonderful!
Thank you, you all keep me going with the journal and Henry says thank you, too!

River, Blogger sucks, I am sorry, it is frustrating!!!

Yes, Summer is definitely here! Hot! Humid! Well, we have a break today as a little cloudy, so not quite as hot. Yes, June flew by. I never even posted to my blog in June! But I joined the tea party this week. Sorry, I am so late getting here. Have a great week, Iris.
