I certainly could not resist to buy this drink - Jägermeister Orange!
Might be a fake, as on the bottle you don´t find Wolfenbüttel, but what the heck, it´s yummy.
"Jägermeister... there must be something to it" - the wee bottle is an original you only get in Germany, and Jägermeister is - if google maps is correct - produced 15 km from our doorstep.

The journal:
Monday: Ingo got up at 04:00, closed the door, I turned around to sleep in till 05:00 a.m....
Found the towel in the basin and the coffee on the floor (Ingo´s coffee-machine is in the bathroom as our condo/kitchen is small).
Found Ingo asleep on the sofa.
He fell unconscious in the hall and I heard not a thing. fK and admin mT were there for me.
What has happened - no idea.
Scary. But all good now.
(Ingo has near to no pancreas anymore and life is hence a challenge)
Tuesday: The cat is saved!!! That´s how my work-day started - news from my company - the Hackathon is solved, the cat was saved from being hit by the train.
ESE is also into automotive and industry, but railway is the main part. Also for private stuff!
Lying. First was the customer: Train really has arrived in Olso and he is happy with my work.
Met Brazilian mC in the Jour fixe-meeting - if only via teams. Fun! fC told the others he and I sure know about the trouble of outsourcing... And boy, she really ... the f-word fell more than once, as the s-word, LOL.
Wednesday: Who invents a word like "Doppellippenprofil" - really?? ("Double lip profile" sounds much easier...)
Customer called cause I had some questions via teams, one was: "I need to use up 11 days of holiday - what´s best, in one bunch or long weekends?".
Him: "Holiday is important, do as you like!"
Me: "I had six weeks off at the beginning of this year, so... as the project needs me..."
Him... pause... I could practically hear him calculating...: "That is 41 days altogether!!!"
That is ESE.
Next: "High priority, a document of 300 pages" - I nearly fell off the chair, "but take days off when you like!".
The craziest project ever.
300 pages! It´s for all ICE-trains.
Thursday: Went to Edeka. Maintanance guy on the run, waving at me, "Good morning! 😀"

Kids on the balcony see me coming and hide. Halloween already???
Nope, when I was near they stood up, smiled big and said hello!
Nice chat with fK and super-heavy rain! Too cold to go outside, though....
Teamlead fC asked me to translate a document... Fortescue might be in again! If so... me, take me!!!!
Bulky mailman at the door, think a Ukrainian, he asked me what "vor der Tür abstellen" means.

Friday: Lower Saxony is on school holidays, so no lunch with fK, but we had a loooong chat after (my) work. Some work-, most private-related.
I still got my "cat-dose":
My friend´s friend´s family´s cat. Cute, huh? Seems they have better weather in East Germany than than we have.
When I meet big Niece again I´ll ask her if "the wall" is present to her.
But with Pu#in on the way you get a bit scared history might repeat itself and (part of) Germany will again be part of Russia again...
I´ll likely work long hours next week there are sooooo many figures that need to get translated, oh, my. Thought, pffflp, Wednesday as "eod" - jepp, I need that! Hope I make that!
So many words I even don´t know in German. And I am German.
News: Wettest summer since 1881...
Weekend: Saturday: Slept in and dreamed of all the summerly holidays we were able to take.
Germany: icky, cold weather - no worries. Cuba, Jamaica, ... I don´t wanna brag, but we have no kids, we can skip the school holidays and travel when it´s cheaper, hence.
Off to buy soup, as Ingo is also unwell again. In 18C... Summer????

Munch-wise... Ingo again didn´t eat his tomatoes, hence...
I really do enjoy cooking and knowing what is in my food.

Didn't you just have a vacation, Iris? How do you get so many vacation days when it takes us in the states forever to get even four weeks vacation. You are truly blessed.
Poor Ingo. I hope he has nothing seriously wrong with him. Glad you saved the cat. And I like that pretty black one. Sounds like you are doing really well and now have several friends to go out with. Love saving food and that will make great pizza sauce.
Jagermeister orange sounds wonderful, but I think I will have some real orange juice (grin). Thanks for sharing your calendar pages and your Jagermeister with us for T this Tuesday, dear Iris. And thanks for the anniversary wishes too. I am grateful for your friendship.
When I worked for ALSTOM I had no time for vacation, just a day off here and there and was allowed to take the rest into the next year...

I hope East Germany doesn't come back because of Putin. That would be horgrible. It's bad enough what he is doing to Ukraine. I remember when Jagermeister was what everyone was drinking, but not an orange flavored. And as usual, I love the journal. The big happy sun is perfect. I hope Ingo's health remains as good as it possibly can be for a long time, must be scary when he falls unconscious and you don't even know.
