I´ve never been in Brussels but I sure very much love Brussels Sprouts!
The latter are one of the few great things about winter... Right?
What about you - yay or nay?
One more from here is to come for Tom´s Signs2... next week.
I have a raw one still, recipes are welcome...
P.S. On my work-PC:
Max is a Granpa, not a kitten, my friend´s cat, who persuaded me to let Ingo off the hook with my "I want a cat or two" as cats, especially when old, are a lot of work and travel is near to impossible. He pukes a lot and does not always find the loo, poor ole man... but still so cute and... he is their family-member.
"There are enough cats on the internet, go there", she said. And gives me my "Max-dose" daily 🥰😻

...yes, no hating please, but I've never been a fan of Brussels Sprouts. Perhaps my mother didn't know how the prepare them. Pets come with responsibilities!
Brussels Sprouts are bitter so I have to eat them with salted butter.
Tom, wish I could beam some yummy Brussels Sprouts-dish over come winter!
Yes, pets you always have to take care of!

gigi, German Brussels Sprouts are maybe different to yours?
That swan is a beauty. And yeah, why would anyone hate Brussels? Lizzie is long past kitten but I'll give her a pet in memory of younger days!
I like Brussels Sprouts!
Jeanie, the swan is but from the internet. I think ths Perth summer too hot, I saw no black swan for real.... I rely on friends and internet now, cat-wise....

Christine, so YES!
I love Brussel Sprouts, they are tasty.
Absolutely!!!
Definite yes for Brussels Sprouts, did you know if you cut an X into the stem at the base before steaming the heat gets in better so the middle is cooked properly. They can also be roasted, but always cut the X.
Older cats are more work. Lola is 15 now (76 cat years) and I keep a chair beside the table now for her to jump on to then jump onto the table where her food is. She won't eat anywhere else. For a while she could jump from the floor but a few times she misjudged and bonked her head, also has not made it to her litter tray in time quite a lot lately. Could have just been tummy trouble as she seems to be okay again now.
Brussel sprouts have a bitter taste that only some people can actually taste. Therefore supposedly a lot of people don't like them. It's not like other foods that some people don't like because they don't like the texture, or that something is too sour or too sweet. (You know about sweet.) That's my explanation of the sign, and I'm sticking to it. :) hugs-Erika
