T Stands For LOUD

This Gurri I found in the street - can you believe how happy that made me?
She keeps your drinks warm or cold.
With this beauty I join Elizabeth´s T.

The Journal:

Monday:  I was clever and fully dressed early as the worker came way earlier than expected, phew!! Despite the NOISE I got much done. One whole week there will be noise in the cellar.
All water pipes need renovation. We live ground floor...

Am I too fast? fK said, work "normal" - there is still no other project for  me....
Docu Galileo: solidified glass  is on the way, yay for clumsy-me!

Tuesday: Met with fK for brekki at the nursery-café. So many beautiful flowers.
The staff is mainly from life support association, people with down syndrome. It takes a bit longer, but they have a job!
We shared a breadroll - 3 slices of cheese and my friend had to eat half of mine...

And had mega-monsters later. Was so into work, nearly forgot to join the last meeting with my teamlead. She retires, sad, really.
She understood I´m afraid to drive a car after my accident. Her brother sits in a wheelchair  now due to having had one, too. Hope the next teamlead is the same (minus a brother like that)....

Wednesday:
As I said last T-Day...  our politicians are of no use. Instead of stopping all the refugees floating Germany they stop registering  them partially, hence not even making sure they are refugees from war or just want the service here. Instead of food-tickets they get money. Now, that is attractive, huh? They get translators, too. I think the politicians should let them move into their houses...
The asylum summit failed... and our Chancellor was again incompetent.
Poland says no, and others, like Czech Republic has buses with which they get them out at once. - Addendum... they try to change the rules after all.... this info was last Wednesday, but you know how that felt like?
Other.... tired. Too many monsters at work. Some documents are OK.

Thursday: Maintenance on breaks. The AI  translated "no make-up" ... I so had to laugh. Don´t think the trains wear make-up (it was meant "no refill", of course).

I then had a document straight from hell. Text partially made absolutely no sense at all. The AI even added the English Pound in a part from the handbrake!
At the end I found "Klüber" - ah, that´s easy, I thought, that´s Kleber, glue.
Luckily I involved my friend. Just the other day in the ALSTOM-plant she found a can of Klüber!

Politics is "fun" again...
If I really wasn´t safe in my country I would be thankful to find shelter and get food...
And those a really welcome! But we have this...

Number of wanted by arrest warrant criminal asylum seekers
  • 821:       Homicide
  • 1.473:    Attempted murder or manslaughter
  • 1.856:    Rape, sexual assault
  • 15.000:  Theft, violent assault
That´s were police, payed by our taxes, spend their time.
The idea, is also: Asylum seekers don´t get money anymore, but meal vouchers - for food only, no ciggies, no alcohol.
But the left wing and the green party, who have fat cars etc, are against it.

I had paper-meal vouchers at my old company, here I have an extra credit card.
Addendum September 16th: Border controls are back! ... for six months...

Friday (13th): Had the day off, got up at 05:00. Some blogging, TV and then.. taxes :-(
Colleague said, take  WISO, that´s a good one. Bought, nothing worked, needed support. SUPER-NICE man to the help.
Download´d failed, he helped. Didn´t find it.
Another SUPER-NICE man to the help.
Program said you can fetch the data from Elster.
Was unclear. Nasty lady could not really explain, something is via paper-mail on the way, so: on hold.

Went to pub "Liquid Story" - likely not again.

Ingo let me know there is "Lost Places" on TV. In English the narrator said "... went to Down Under...". Translator: ".. in Australien...".
And got the internet-problem under control: THANK YOU!

Weekend: Saturday: Eventless. Learned: My meal voucher-credit card is allowed but once a day in the same store. Covered Ingo, payed mine private. Was tempted to try at the other store nearby. What nonsense is this?
Horse sausages on the balcony. YUM. Jackets on!

Sunday: Pusteblume, Die Maus and fairy tale, horse sausages, yummmmmm...

Munchy at the nursery:

Who eats three layers of cheese?! I love cheese, but that was too much.
But made with love, huh.

Love this post! A new toy or tool or trinket can make us happy!

Borders closed for only six months? That's not long enough. Of course our borders aren't closed at all and I wish they were.
I could eat all that cheese and a full bread roll, which may explain why I am so plump. (fat)

we have had open borders here for almost 4 years-ugh I love your beverage cover! Happy Tuesday and new week hugs

Yes, especially in that color and pattern :-)

Not closed, sporadic controlled borders... Our politics is crap.
You are not fat!!!

Yips here the same. We are paradise. You don´t need to work or learn the language, you get a warm place to stay and money. Whilst many a retiree has to collect bottles to recycle to get around. S0, I´d rather look at Streetfind Gurri :-) Hugs

You nailed the 2 hecklers from the Muppets in your journal. Very nicely done. And that's a great find. And I know you love red and polka dots. :) Fruit Henry is good, and boy would taste good right now as I just got back from a walk. Have a great rest of your T day. hugs-Erika

Glad you felt like picturing your journal days. And discussing what happened. Watermelon Henry is cute.

Politics really is like those two here, sadly... well, where not.
Yes, what if one day I don´t like polka-dots no more? ;-) Hugs and to a great day.

If I don´t sketch the weeks just float by and I wonder, what did I do with my time... Henry says thank you.

The meal voucher is good only at one place, they must have some kind of deal.

Like that gurri-- new word for me!
I do enjoy your journal sketches. They say a lot without many words.
Like River, I could easily eat that bread and cheese...which might explain my size...
Hope a new project comes your way soon!

"Gurri" is just an isolated container, the bottle inside is mine :-)
Politics.... I´m sick of it...

About 5 years ago I bought a red coat with white Polka-dots. The company named that coat "Gurri", so I take that name for all things with that pattern :-)
