(Train Passengers Sing) Over the Rainbow!

Isn´t this beautiful? Dreams really do come true sometimes.
Sadly I was In Germany already - but I ... we... did ride Transperth a thousand times, too.

All nice people, even when The Little Giant Girl with Royal de Luxe was visiting. The trains were full to the brim, but people stayed friendly.
And I had to go by myself as Ingo was working, he was a volunteer helping the Little Giant Girl.

Shocking scenes, huh, Corinna?! Or thinking of terror attacks - I was there by myself mostly (well, as in without friends, of course 🤣) and NEVER was in any kind of fear. And I hate masses of people, LOL. Most, say 99%, kept a proper distance, not so here in Germany, sadly.
And IF someone bumped into you, you heard a "sorry!" instantly, and it was meant that way, too.

Don´t you plain hate that?!
You come home.
Get your glovies off, boots off. Happy hat, scarf, mask, Gurri, all off.
Jeans full of snow till the knees -  off, into the shower to dry.

Those darn stones everywhere!!!

Vacuum out, clean the condo, exclaim:
Shoes now off in front!!!

Sit down, exhausted.
Open e-mail:

"Your parcel has arrived at Packstation!".

Why, yes, thank you!
Do I...  take the wet/new jeans, darn heavy boots on, scarf on, mask on, happy hat, glovies.... and go outside in -3C again?
No.

I´d like to be under the rainbow, in warm weather, summer-clothes and off I´d be to get whatever I ordered.

This way I wait till I have to get all the clothes on when I go grocery shopping (no market today. The last tomatoes were not yummy).

Spring.... soon. And a rainbow?
MINUS 17C!!! MINUS!

For a few minutes the world on that train was a perfect world, wasn't it? But is still weird ...
The packages are not delivered to your home?
Next week the thaw will start, the warm weather is approaching!
Have a perfect Valentine's day!

That was pretty cool on the train Iris, I wish it would happen when we're on the train but then again we don't often go on the train 😉 So happy, no masks again from tomorrow, back to normal yay 💙 Happy weekend to you both xx

Ohhh, lucky you, Grace! Here lockdown extended. I´m sick and tired of it, that and the cold.
A happy weekend to you 🧡

I don't like 2 things about winter. 1-having to shovel snow nd 2-having to spend 5 minutes bundling up just to walk out and get the mail, or get the dogs or anything like that. I can relate. Fun photos from the big balloon parade too. You didn't volunteer to help him? Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika

The amount of snow you have is amazing. We have snow -- not like that, though! Isn't it frustrating when you just get in, check the messages and realize that you could have done something while you were out that you just learned about now. UGH. I hate shoveling and only do minor because of my back or when I'm desperate. The other thing is all the clothes you have to wear to go out! Love that ingo helped in the parade! It looks like it will take forever to dig out his car.

It feels so light when spring comes and you don't have to put on heavy clothes! We have hardly any snow but it is cold.

I don't like winter at all. I lived too long in big snow country and now it rains here all the time. I want warm sunny days. Hey check out my post for tomorrow. I got photos of our meat department. The workers were NOT happy.

I love to take train, and I hear the one that comes though here, Amtrak is only letting 10% on. So ticket in advance.
Coffee is on and stay safe

WHEN was The Giants festival in Perth? I never even heard about it until I found your blog. my brother lives in Fremantle and never mentioned it, but maybe he was away for his work, he travels a lot, has to go where the work is. He is a concrete construction engineer.
