Let´s go back to Freo and SAIL & ANCHOR, shall we?
What this has to do with bees? Well, this!
So yummy next time it was no more on tap. All gone...
Ingo had another brand.
They have beers for women...
Beers for men...
I forgot to take a pic of the flowers, sadly... but you see the roots, right?
This is for Tom´s Signs2, and here is another, not only women wore/wear these:

"High-heeled shoes
In the 15th century, heels were the shoe of choice for Persian soldiers, as the sole helped them to stay in their stirrups. The Persians brought the heels to Europe, where men supposedly started wearing them because they made them look so tall and intimidating."
German source translated by Deepl.
Crazy, huh?

Those are very nice labels
It´s a nice place, too :-)
...the Sail & Anchor looks like an interesting place. But I have never understood how women can walk in spike heels and what an interesting history.
Tom, I once tried my Mom´s shoes - no way. Also I bet that hurts pretty soon - I prefer a beer at Sail & Anchor!
I love those beer signs and labels. I often try beers and wine just for the labels. And absolutely, hurrah for the bees! And I don' know how anyone can walk in those shoes either. Not for me-grin. Hope you're having a super Wednesday. hugs-Erika
Same, I buy if the label is great :-)
Thank you, to a great day.... in flip-fops, hugs
Beautiful signs.
Loved the last pic the best!
Since I drink honey in my coffee daily, I'm sure I would love a bee beer.
A bee beer sounds good, Iris. Love the shot of the swans.
magiceye, the swan is but from the internet... sorry...

Barbara, I never heard of honey in coffee! Sounds interesting.

RedPat the beer was really good, the swans hid in the heat, though, this is but from the internet...
I used to drink beer and champagne, but now no alcohol. I also used to wear heels, great for ballroom dancing, but now just sandals.
You could DANCE in those????? Wow.
Great signs, Iris.
Great signs Iris. I still wear high heels to work or if going out, but never as high as those!!
Bill, they are creative over there!

Sami, I still have shoes with a higher heel (I haven´t worn in ages) - but thick and not like a "penny", as we call it.
But, when I saw Grace wearing sneakers to a short skirt, I thought: Good idea and do that, too! :-)
Fun signs
I thought so, too :-)
The highest heels I ever wore were two inches only (at my wedding) and they were thick and stable, (I had knee high boots) no spikes for me. Now I only wear sneakers and flat sandals.
Sail and Anchor sounds like a good place to eat, I bet my brother has been there.
Yes, sneaker sand flip-flops.
When I was young the 70´s style came back and I had high - fat!- heels.
Yes, your Brother is really lucky living there.
