T STands For Träumerei (Dreaming)

This calendar was really produced in 2020.
Obviously by an optimist!!!! (Unlike...  see last post)
Oh, I fell in love with the cover!

Sadly Eileen stopped her journal-project, but she inspired me.
Actually this is like a baby taking it´s first steps, but what the heck, I share anyways.
Tips are welcome!!!

Let me tell you: This is not only fun. It makes me more aware of what was going on - especially now, that we´re all home, this is important, I think.
And it is fun 😁

Guess it´s too much on one page!
I sadly couldn´t find one with a page for a day for a reasonable price.
Plan was to buy one when the year has started as they are cheaper then. Hahaha, lockdown!

Time, I have that on my hand for sure, so I cook and bake along.

Jamie Oliver taught me to just put mushrooms in the pan, no oil, no nothing. Works!!!!

Well. Ingo was not a fan this time (last  time he was and I have no idea what I did different!). At least he is honest.

I liked it.

And to join Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday"...

Henry 🦁

To  a happy new year, will you make a daily journal, too?
Tips are welcome, always...

Mushrooms are one of our favorites, but I always use a bit of butter (or a lot) in the pan. Looks as if your way does concentrate the mushroom flavor, though.

Hello

Your journal is pretty, I like the bike with the flowers. I have watched some of Jamie Oliver's cooking shows, he is fun. The Creamy Mustard chicken looks yummy. Great Henri art images. A day on my daily journal would just say repeat of the day before. Take care, have a great new week!

:-) you made me laugh big, there is no bike, LOL - guess I have a lot of practising to do! Yes, Jamie is fun! He made me start to cook! To a great week, also for you!

I get one of those small datebook things each year with a small space for each day and jot down what I did/how I felt each day. In the back I keep a list of the books I read and other notes. So it's just the notebook and a pen :-) These are small and easy to transport when we move. I used to have bigger journals, but years ago during a move, I threw them all away due to lack of space, so I keep it small now.

How beautiful you can draw ... and you don't show us!
Think Ingo is a bit "out of order" ... the food must be very tasty! LOL
I'm doing my best to start a diary ...

How much fun are you having with that journal! It looks so wonderful, I love your drawings and happy colours 😁. It will be such a wonderful way to look back on the year too! I know you wanted suggestions so I was wondering if it would be easier to see the different days if a thicker line was added between each day to block them out more? Can't wait to see more of your pages, such fun! Your mushroom soup looks so yummy and sending you a big ROAR for those lions which look gorgeous, very regal! Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x

Shari, I have a small one on top, LOL. For all the little things and dates to remember. Those I throw away, too, but always keep track on how much training I did, as motivation.

____

Ella, 😂 - I´m a beginner in this for sure, but thank you!
Well, this time it somehow was a tad dry, I have no idea why!
Yes, go for a diary, it´s fun - ich hab dich liiiieb mein 🦋 xoxo

____

William, thank you.

____

Jo, thank you, that is a great idea with the lines! I think I´ll take a ruler!
Thank you, to me it was yummy indeed! x

I love your journal Iris. No not too much on a page! Those drawings are great and they will be fun to look back at in the future. I am trying a new type of journal this year, but not yet sure if I like it as much as the one I used last year. And your dinner looks great but too many mushrooms for me. Get ride of most of them, and I would eat too much in a heartbeat I think. Smile. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

The chicken looks great -- I love mushrooms! One of my favorites. And your journal is wonderful. I love your drawings and what a fun idea to really dress it up! Nice work!

The mushrooms look tasty over the rice. I don't keep any kind of journal. Yours looks great! Happy T Tuesday!

Oh I do love that book cover with the bike and basket of lavender. Great job filling your pages! I thought about resuming some sort of calendar/planner but didn't pick anything up to journal in.
I love mushrooms, and your chicken dinner sounds yummy to me- I have had a similar dish in France and loved it.
Cheers and happy T day!

That chicken dish and basmati rice looks delicious. Yummy!

I bike with a basket overflowing with lavender?! What's not to love! terrific start to your journal ~ Have fun creating in it. Mushrooms are funny sometimes I like them and other times not so much ~ so I get Ingo's response. looks yummy though. Henry is sporting an art vibe in that last photo ~ Nice find! Enjoy your week ~

Kathy, He started, if I´m correct with a new show. And here old ones are on sometimes, too.
Thank you, I still have a lot to learn, doodling-wise!

____

Tom, I´ll try!

____

Erika, will you share your pages, too?
Well, chicken is fine with rice only, too :-) Hugs

____

Jeanie, thank you, I still need to learn a lot, though...

____

Nicole, thank you, I´ll do my best, a wonderful day to you, too!

____

Divers and Sundry, most of Jamie´s recipes are great! Thank you, I hope I keep the journal going.

____

Linda, the calendar is really fun and I have a small second where I keep track of my training etc for motivation. The dish is super-easy to make and Jamie has most online, too - Cheers to you!

____

gigi, it was (to me)! :-)

____

creativeseconds, yes, beautiful, huh! Hmmm. you are right - some things I like at times and at other times not! Henry says thank you!

I did a Jamie fish dish on Sunday that I didn't like but I'm going to try the Chicken Cacciatore this week and it sound great. I saw him cook it this week on TV.

Iris Flavia said...

I wasn´t really disappointed once so far, have his DVDs and books (bought that when I was a total newbie and also didn´t know he has most recipes online!).
Please let me know about the outcome :-)
I have the 15-minute-book right here.

My daughter started me off keeping a journal about four years ago. I use a Leuchtturm book (look up bullet journal online) and it is great to look back on. I put all sorts of things in it, including recording what I have done each day. It's fun :)

The creamy mustard chicken sounds yumm.. unfortunately avian flu has raised its head here in parts of India amid Covid.

I was by earlier, then got called away before I could leave a comment. I also had a ton of paperwork I was trying to get out today, which sucked up my time. I'm sorry I'm late visiting.

I love your calendar. I love that it's colorful and you draw all those cute items. I think I'm going to enjoy seeing it each week. It will be fun, fun, fun.

I'm not really fond of basmati rice. It's too sweet for me. But your mushrooms look good.

I'd love a latte, too, please. And I also love how artistic Henry is. Thanks for sharing your new calendar, your mushroom dish, your Latte and Henry with us for T this Tuesday. Again, sorry I'm late visiting.

I love your pretty doodles in your diary. all I do is X the date in red each night so I don't lose track of what day it is. Perhaps Ingo prefers the mushrooms cooked in oil or butter, not plain.

Sallie (FullTime-Life) said...

I like the idea of an art journal and yours looks great. I have been wanting to start a poetry journal (to collect and remember favorite, meaningful ones, not my own)... It could be both Maybe. I understand the frustration of not being able to shop for the notebook you wanted. We are ordering most everything by mail, but some things are impossible to get right if you can’t see them first!

Iris Flavia said...

Margaret, yes, that´s a great idea, too! I have since years a plain book with Henry up front and never knew what to do with it! It´s quite big, though.
Funny that the company´s name is Leutturm, was confused a bit (lighthouse).

____

magiceye, that´s horrible, that flu is back again, too?!

____

Elizabeth, no worries, I´m even more late ;-)
Yes, Ingo doesn´t like Basmati, either. I love the smell so much!
Calendar-wise I have to learn a lot still!

____

River, you made me laugh! That sounds like you´re in jail!
The first time I made this dish he loved it! I have no idea what was different, I went after recipe again...

____

Sallie, yes, well maybe next ... well in early 2023 I get what I want..
Poetry journal sounds great, too.

Your journal is fantastic! No, it's not too full. It's fun!
No, I won't be joining you as I write a diary with words. I could make some little drawings, but I wouldn't share it as it's too personal. (I write an A4 page every day)
He didn't like you mushrooms? I wonder if you seasoned it sufficiently or differently. Too little salt (or too much) makes all the difference.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Your journal is so fun. I enjoyed looking at all your drawings. No oil in the pan and the mushrooms didn't stick? Dinner looks real good. Whenever there is a complaint about what anyone cooks (Himself cooks, too, sometimes) we say: If you don't like it, you can go to Tony's (our local pizza shop)😺 Henry looks like a Warhol painting. Happy T Day 🦁

Yum! Your mushroom and rice dish looks and sounds delicious! Basmati rice is my favorite kind.
Love that you are trying your hand at journaling. It is a great way to grow your skills and record memories. Your pages look great. Looking forward to seeing more.
Sorry I am a bit late making it around.
Happy belated Tea day,
Kate

I love that I inspired you to start an art diary. Your first efforts are way better than mine were! I love your pages! Like you say, "baby steps." I think we need to keep taking those little steps all life long. Else, we'd be bored and boring.

Your chicken and mushrooms looks rich and wonderful. I need to search for Jamie Oliver's recipe!

Happy T-day! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen
P.S. You made my day. 😁

As many times as I have tried to keep a journal or diary, I have failed. Oh, well. I am afraid I do not like mushrooms. In fact my husband and recently discussed this. Neither of us like any kind of mushrooms. I have tried and even ordered a raved about sandwich of some giant mushroom, portabella, maybe. Sorry! Happy t Day. I do love tea, but not the green or herbal that are supposed to be healthy. I like black and strong. I am a lost cause.

Your journal cary looks great - love your drawings! Your mustard chicken looks yummy to me - maybe it just wasn't the same kind of mushrooms? Henry looks very grand today! Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
