Here´s the recipe for Savory Keto Breakfast Cookies - use maybe normal flour or really almonds flour - that was super-expensive, hence I tried hemp flour. But despite it says it´s for baking it has a strange taste. I also added chili - a must!
Haha, you thought chocolate-cookies?! Not me! Cheddar cheese!!!
Sorry, but ... here goes π
Anyone any idea what to do with that hemp flour?! Strange stuff.
Art-wise... it snows!!! Just a bit, luckily, but here, have a look:
Fussy cuts on snow-paper and here you have your chocolate my sweet friends π (yes, lame, I know. But when Ingo is home... BAD excuse, I know!!!)
To take part in Elizabeth and Bleubeard´s "T Stands For Tuesday" I tell you:
That was my yummy drink.
And Henry´s π¦ interpretation to this is...
OK, a warm Spring would be OK, too, he says (see ticker on the right, 2 months, 2 weeks till that!!).
Today we learn how long we stay in hard lockdown, likely end of January. I so feel for all the people who loose their jobs, who have to close down likely forever.
I don´t think it even makes sense. DISTANCE is the main thing.
One stupid politician really said: "People die every day!" - Aha. Before we all were Highlanders and lived forever?
Politics in Germany really blew it off. Mindless, dumb, not looking at science.

Hello,
Cheddar cheese cookies, they sound yummy. I am looking forward to warm spring days! I think we have learned the way to stay safe! Take care, enjoy your day! Have a happy week ahead!
Eileen, yes, yummy (better with other dough) - no, yes. WE have learned how to stay safe, others, too many others sadly not.
I hope you can find a use for your hemp flour :-)
Yes, well. Bin? ;-)
some good eats and drinks here. I have never used hemp flour. If you have a strong blender you can make flour that way. It won't be the fine almond flour but rather a nut meal but still good to bake with.
I found this about hemp flour--Hemp flour can be used in any recipe requiring all-purpose plain flour for baking and general cooking requirements. Combine with other flours of choice in bread, muffins and biscuits. Great for pizza dough, waffles and pancakes. Add a few tablespoons of hemp flour to soups and hotpots to add extra body.
Happy T Kathy
Haaaa, I mix, thank you!!! That way it won´t be that strange and "flour" in general will last longer - clever! Great, especially as I don´t have Creme fraiche but sour cream I need some extra body!
Gooood!
I'd much rather have cheese than chocolate -- and the BBQ sauce, too!
I wish they'd make a super-strict lockdown for us. I can dream on!
Those cookies look good. I have not baked cookies in decades.
Jeanie, sooo many people out and about. It´s all but a joke.
____
gigi, they were yummy but there are better recipes, I won´t repeat this, I reckon - might´ve been the flour, though ;-)
Oh I really like the thought of savory cookies! I've never tried hemp flour so I'm not of any help with that.
Love your cut and paste art! Cheers, happy New Year, and happy T day!
...low carb sound good!
I'll skip the cheese cookies for the chocolate and warm up, but I'll park myself in a comfy chair by the fire to sip tea, hot chocolate, mulled cider, mulled wine. And you know I'm with Henry. Bring on Summer! Spring where I live tends to be cold and wet, a lot like Winter just not as much snow. So bring on Summer!
We should be on hard lock down, too, as numbers are rising higher than they were back in the Spring π± Very sad for those that lose their jobs, homes, businesses. Wow, what a statement from the poitician. We've had Covidiot politicians making statements like that too. Though Highlanders don't live forever. There can only be one π Take care and Happy T Day!
No snow here and it is unseasonably warm, been hovering around 2 C most days. I want a snow storm so we can have mulled wine in the afternoon!
Linda, no worries, I´ve learned: Mix that flour with others and all good - but... just don´t buy it in the first place, LOL!
____
Tom, yes. Now I only would need to skip beer ;-)
____
CJ, yes, I nearly bought mulled wine the other day, other I´m with Henry, too!!!!
I really (sadly) must remember the word "Covidiot"! Though here it´s called Corona and thanks to autocorrect "Corinna"....
We should have "One vision! Fried chicken!" (for years I thought I get it wrong, but he sings "fried chicken", LOL - saw the making of, too funny!
____
Jackie, I´m about to now really buy some mulled wine! :-)
The cheese treat looks tasty, and I'd also enjoy a hot drink :)
That people die every day is true enough, but it has never stopped governments from instituting rules to try to keep those numbers down. What are people thinking?!
Happy T Tuesday :)
Cheese cookies. Now, that's something that had never occurred to me. :-) Thanks.
Greetings from London.
Wonderful looking cheese cookies. They actually sound better than chocolate chip. I like all your drinks. I would love some mulled cider, so egg nog, some hot chocolate. And of course, I would gladly share a latte espresso, too. I'll skip the BBQ sauce, though. Thanks for sharing your cookies, your art, and your drink (and BBQ sauce) with us for T this Tuesday, dear Iris.
Divers and Sundry... most people stopped thinking. "Guided thinking" Ingo calls it :-(
____
Cuban... go for it :-)
____
Elizabeth, thank you, yes much better than chocolate! Hmmm, still two in the freezer, now I crave those ;-)
Your drinks look and sound good. Never heard of hemp flour.
Good evening to you, Iris.
Cheese cookies sound good as does Spring!
Bill, yupp, was yummy, the drink! Never buy that flour, though, LOL!!!! A nice evening to you!
____
RedPat, yes to both!
Those cookies certainly look healthy. Hemp flour doesn't sound too tasty. I have noticed that flours other than wheat have a gritty and grain-like texture. Not something that my palette likes. Hope you find a use for it.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Breakfast bites sound interesting ~ Might have to give it a try! Blessings on your week ~
I'd love to try those cookies with the cheddar cheese added π. I've never tried hemp flour before either. Your collage is fabulous and Henry looks right at home on the BBQ sauce ...lol! Happy T Day and wishing you all the best for the New Year! Hugs, Jo x
I haven't heard of hemp flour. I like the idea of breakfast cookies. Even if they are not sweet. They would probably keep you satisfied longer being savory. If almonds are cheaper and you have a way to grind them, you can make your own almond flour. Just pulverize them to crumbs. But maybe almonds are expansive too. I love your T day art too. A little snow is good, but not a big snow. Hope it was a great T day. Hugs-Erika
A quick search on the internet showed several recipes for bread or brownies with your Hemp flour. So maybe those might be ideas? I adore homemade bread! Fun beverage collage and savory cookies! thanks for sharing...Happy New Year!
Hemp flour? No thank you. ordinary flour is good enough for me and I don't bake hardly at all these days anyway.
Distance should be easy to keep if everyone is locked in their homes, ha ha.
Usual I've only use wheat flour, the others not so much.
Politician can say pretty off the wall crap and our President does all time.
Coffee is on and stay safe.
Kate, yes, it is a weird one, I´ll mix it with others, that should work. And I´ll never buy it again ;-)
____
creativeseconds - it´s yummy and filling, a great week for you, too!
____
Jo, yes, it´s yummy, I have another even better recipe, though! To a great New Year for you, too x
____
Erika, I´ll mix it with chickpea-flour as next experiment and yes, they keep you full quite a while! Hugs from here!
____
Dianne, I dunno, that flour in itself tastes strange. I´ll mix it with others instead - and never buy it again - so.... Happy New Year!
____
River, the streets were FULL! It was crazy. Off to some baking, LOL. Having lost my job I need to do something useful.
____
Dora, your ... "president" again was in our German news!
Ohhh my.... Cheese cookies would you please put that recipe up. I use all kinds of flour and even make my own. However, I have never used hemp flour. I am sure it would have a strong flavor. I will ask my friend if she uses it and get some idea for you. Have a lovely day.
Hemp flour - eww. Who ever thought of that? Your cookies look good. I like the Henry BBQ sauce jar. You're so creative in finding Henry all over the place.
Wishing you the best in 2021 and a Happy T-day! Hugs, Eileen
Cheese biscuits are my favourites! These look yummy! We have enjoyed our special afternoon coffees - bought quite a few so will be having them for a while yet! I do wish people would stop gathering together and let this COVID go!!! Belated Happy T Day and Happy New Year! Chrisx
