Mural found pre-Corinna, when we were still allowed to travel "for no reason".
This I found in my old hometown, Seesen, when I still had a car.
If you click the link you´ll see... Henry 🦁 is the coat of arms also there 😀
In Seesen not only Steinway & Sons was founded (well, we have a Steinweg at home, that was one of his first pianos), no obviously music still plays a huge role there, they have this mural in commemoration to ...
Now, you might want to know who the artist was?
The artists were kids! Kids interested in classical music! My hometown is weird ;-)
Wonder when I am able to visit again. Hard lockdown still and who knows how long.
Only good thing: Big Niece starts to like going to school as at home schooling her little Sis goes on her nerves. You always have to see the good in the bad, right?
This is for Sami´s COLOURFULWORLD Monday Murals
Oh, and ... if I gave you an earworm... kill it! 😉

A great mural if painted by school kids. I like the cat jumping out of the wall, very cute:)
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Iris.
Take care in your hard lockdown.
Sami, yes, nice mural, thank you for hosting. Hope "the kids" in Bonn are doing well, too.
Great art project for the musically minded kids!
The children are very talented, very beautiful mural, Iris!
Today is also Blue Monday ... so, the blue wall is perfect for this day!
I wrote about Blue Monday today! ... LOL
Have a very nice day an a great new week, my 🐘!
Ich hab dich liiiieb .... xoxo
The happy cat speaks to me.
Shari, yes, I wasn´t interested in classical music (yet had to learn to play the piano with just that).

Ella, an eight to you. And a great week ahead, ...

William, cats always do, wish I had one!
If there's a cat in the mural, you know I'm going to love it. Glad to see children are interested in classical music, too. Today, most in the states prefer rap.
Cool mural. And now I learned something new too. About where Steinways originated. I like earning fun facts like that! Happy Monday Iris.
What a darling mural -- and all the more fun because it was done by the kids! Thanks for this one, Iris!
Beautiful murals!
Love this mural, everything about it.
I agree, oh to be able to travel again.
...keep the music playing, it's good for your soul.
Steinway is an excellent piano. But, we bought a Yamaha because it was less expensive.
Art and music..two things that make the world a much better place Iris 💙love that the children participated in the mural painting 💛
The kids did a great job!
I associate Louis Spohr with clarinet music. He wrote a few clarinet concertos that are popular with music students. Of course I did not know he was from your town! Or had a mural!
be well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Kids got talent with painting that mural. Love the cat!
A great week to you!
The children did a good job! Have an enjoyable day.
I like the mural, anyone who paints them is very clever I think. Our borders are closed too to non-kiwis so no travelling around the world like we use to.
Happy murals especially Adorable kitty...and we can all use a smile! This Covid thing is really getting old isn’t it! Be happy though that you are not alone, all your neighbors and friends are following the same precautions. We have had no guidance, so we try to stay safe while half the people treat the pandemic like a joke.
Seeing the good within the bad is a very handy skill to have.
Wow this is wonderful. Have a great day.
No earworm today. :-|
And hey! you found some more cute stuff on walls. :)
Hope you are having a good week, Iris. :)
Fun mural!
Keep safe & well.
