(Thank You For) The Music

Mural found pre-Corinna, when we were still allowed to travel "for no reason".
This I found in my old hometown, Seesen, when I still had a car.
If you click the link you´ll see... Henry 🦁 is the coat of arms also there 😀

In Seesen not only Steinway & Sons was founded (well, we have a Steinweg at home, that was one of his first pianos), no obviously music still plays a huge role there, they have this mural in commemoration to ...

Now, you might want to know who the artist was?

Well, my hometown is not that weird, though... it is, I think - I mean, really?!

The artists were kids! Kids interested in classical music! My hometown is weird ;-)

Wonder when I am able to visit again. Hard lockdown still and who knows how long.
Only good thing: Big Niece starts to like going to school as at home schooling her little Sis goes on her nerves. You always have to see the good in the bad, right?

Oh, and ... if I gave you an earworm... kill it! 😉

Shari, yes, I wasn´t interested in classical music (yet had to learn to play the piano with just that).

If there's a cat in the mural, you know I'm going to love it. Glad to see children are interested in classical music, too. Today, most in the states prefer rap.

Cool mural. And now I learned something new too. About where Steinways originated. I like earning fun facts like that! Happy Monday Iris.

Steinway is an excellent piano. But, we bought a Yamaha because it was less expensive.

The kids did a great job!

I associate Louis Spohr with clarinet music. He wrote a few clarinet concertos that are popular with music students. Of course I did not know he was from your town! Or had a mural!

I like the mural, anyone who paints them is very clever I think. Our borders are closed too to non-kiwis so no travelling around the world like we use to.

Happy murals especially Adorable kitty...and we can all use a smile! This Covid thing is really getting old isn’t it! Be happy though that you are not alone, all your neighbors and friends are following the same precautions. We have had no guidance, so we try to stay safe while half the people treat the pandemic like a joke.
