I just read that they are into studies at our technical university on the disorder Prosopagnosia, also known as face blindness.
I just learned that way that this disorder exists.
The article (german) says, in Germany alone 2-3% are affected by this.
What a horrible thought!
Those people can not identify their friends or relatives, at least not by the face.
Watch a movie? Impossible, they cannot differ the characters - only by the voice or the haircut, special clothes...
Some have it from birth, others after an accident.
And this is just for faces, they can identify everything else.
The brain is a wonder...
