Knock-Knock, A Potpourri

Today you only get some shots from... July, boy, I am way behind!

I bought sadly a huge fake I had to carry a long way, too....

I thought it´s a nautical themed toilet-paper. Blue flowers 😒

On the way back from the bakery I saw this "funny" and unsafe construction - hello, burglar, come in:

Next I spotted this old, signed football!!

Awwww. Can you believe I payed 5 Deutsche Mark, being a student, back then? For any seat, too!

Be early, place your jacket on the seat of your choice and go for a pizza, beer, whatever until the game starts! No one takes your jacket. These days? 20+Euro!!! Order online or stand in line, you get a seat that is free.

Back then? Speaker: "Matt!!!" - us: "RIAZZI!!!!" - "Adrian..." - "RAINBOW!!!" We knew all the players. All gone. And that´s not (only) because we are old! The young ones (we only go once in a while) have no interest in the player´s names/personalities/skills.

You know, when I went to school I had no shoes or broken ones, the snow was 3 metres high and it was always uphill, also back home. Right? 👵 Back then everything was better, huh - did you spot the rainbow on the ball?🌈

But for now... SUMMER!!

And more weirdos, falling down:

Henry??? 🦁

"Knock, knock!"
"Who’s there?"
"Orange."
"Orange who?"
"Orange you glad to see me?"

P.S. Have you seen you get Emojis also on blogger? No lion. Good ole Win > dot saves him!

Oh, I think with this I can take part in Tom´s Willy-Nilly 😀

Tom, yes that was a group over the years, thank you, I didn´t find a way to join you, blogger is a tad quirky these days!

The lion knockers are quite a sight.

Just hear when a lion sleeps tonight. :) Love those lion knockers too.

William, sadly no use for them... or money.

Orange you glad I’m not telling you any of those knock-knock jokes?

My final uni had no football team. From what I learned on a plaque at school, all the players, coaches, and some of the supporters were killed in a plane crash coming back from somewhere out west. You were lucky to have experienced the fun at least.

fake TP? How sad is that!!! Surely there's a knock-knock TP joke somewhere (grin).

Dekoratives Blümchenmotiv - wieso braucht man so was eigentlich? Wir haben Schmetterlinge. Einfach weiß erledigt das "Geschäft" doch genauso gut.

It was the same at Michigan state -- football tickets were five dollars and for seven you could go see all the popular music groups on tour. That was then, this is now....

Elizabeth it was in the news over here. Was it the team that died in the Alps?
Yes, the TP was a knock-knock, too, boy, this is heavy in weight and I have no car!
____

Carola, ach, ist doch witzig! Wir haben das in Augenhöhe, also sieht man es auch!
(Unser "Klo" ist sehr klein und ohne Fenster).

____

Jeanie, yes! We had Joe Cocker even, "for free", nothing like this no more - glad we are old, are we!

Knock-knock, thank you, Dora, I´ll greet them properly next time! 😂
